Gotcha. Unfortunately, I tried killing them all in stealth mode... had to use console after a bit of trying just to see if this would work. When I got close to Dawes, he blew my head off. Even after everyone else was dead. Doesn't seem like anything's gonna work. Oh well, I say. Thanks anyway.

Hey there, So, I've seen on this forum, and other forums, about changing reputation with a faction via console. I know the command, and it does change the repuatation as far as what's shown in the Pip-boy... However, it doesn't seem like it actually changes. I'm trying to get into the NCRCF without getting shot at, so I can do the quests there. Unfortunately, I've become vilified with the Powder Gangers thanks to Ringo and the whole of Goodsprings. I try putting on a Powder Ganger outfit, but any guard type characters, like Dawes, sees right throught the disguise. I figured I'd just use the console to reset my reputation. I've adjusted both good rep and bad rep in multiple ways, but everytime I get within five feet of Dawes he opens fire. Any idea as to how to "actually" change the reputation with a faction? Or maybe a way to edit my savefile for faction rep (like in FNVedit or GECK)? Thanks.
