  1. Okay, no suggestions, your directions are very clear. The problem wasn't TexMod, or the directions, but the texture packs I was trying to load. It turns out that the last EW patch broke both the Military Retexture Pack and the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Operator Retextures (I think they changed the address codes or something). But I loaded the Camo Mod with TexMod, which has been updated since the last EW patch, and it works. Thanks for the help!
  2. Thanks, I'll get back to you on any suggestions I have.
  3. Hi, I'm having a hard time getting TexMod to work with X-com EW. I've followed the instructions here exactly: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Modifying_Textures_-_XCOM:EU_2012#Texmod_installation_for_XCOM_EW When I load the game as instructed through TexMod and load my saved game, there are no new textures when I go to edit my soldiers appearances. I'm trying to use the Operator Packs 1 & 2 as well as Military Retexture Pack. I've tried just loading one or the other in case there was some conflict and the textures still don't load. Do texture mods require a new game (not save compatible?). I would also note that I'm using long war so I don't know if this is an issue, but everything I've seen online says as long as you install long war first there should be no conflict. Anyone else have this problem, or better yet, a solution?
  4. Hi, I am trying to get TexMod to work for my EW installation. I have followed the instructions on this link: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Modifying_Textures_-_XCOM:EU_2012#Texmod_installation_for_XCOM_EW I launch from steam, then pick xcom ew from the launcher menu. This brings up TexMod, and I select the new textures (I'm trying the military retextures along with long war which I installed first). I click run and xcom we launches. However, when I load my saved game, I only see the old textures. So: Does retexturing require I start a new game? Anyone get this working with long war?
  5. Hi, Hoping someone can help me here. I somehow managed to delete some textures, probably from adding/deleting mods at some point. The specific ones that are missing are the bodies of the guards at Tasha's shop at what looks like an abandoned gas station. They have heads and hands but the rest of their bodies is missing, just replaced by a exclamation mark in a red box. There are a few non-guard missing textures, I don't know what should be there. I don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall vegas if I don't have to, so any help would be much appreciated!
