  1. Ok.. just tried this armor out because I'm kind of a starcraft fan and I felt like pointing out few things about this armor (sorry if I point out things that have already been mentioned). This armor seems to have well done texture and model's leg joints are interesting because they don't clip like the rest of the power armors do when walking. Now the thing what I don't like about this armor.. shoulders and arms plus it's missing that awesome astronaut helmet which should be part of the armor. I wish you had made that armor from the original starcraft.. then you'd have less problems with arms and shoulders since the armor from the first starcraft seems to be for men with alot less muscles. I hope you get those arms and shoulders right with this current armor and put that helmet there.
  2. Sorry for the delay. Anyways, I allready figured it out thanks to some prototype medic armor mod by using geck. Thanks anyways.. that post of yours should help newbies like me at adding a custom/unique texture to something (item, armor. etc).
  3. The title says it all.. Please help! I made a copy of hellfire power armor that should use a unique texture. This guy here has the same problem what I have: So are there any other ways to change the texture path in a .nif file?
  4. Me silly overlooked those condition files when I first had a look at those npcs, I found those condition files myself. Thanks anyways guys. I might even try to increase the level cap on them. I also did a testing mod where outcast and bos weapons and armors are around 85-100 and it worked. Flamer that outcasts use used to be killing me slowly but now it was realistic.. I needed to run from that flamer.. (I wasn't wearing a power armor) awesome. Now it actually felt like they are the keepers of technology and not some random riff-raff of the street wearing heavily damaged stuff.. It was still easy to kill them (they were a little toughter this time) but that's probably because they don't have as much health as my guy does and currently those older power armors in my game give around 60 dr with a helmet and around 70 dr on my guy.
  5. No matter how many DR those power armors give.. killing an outcast or a BoS member is way too easy and that's because they aren't wearing a fully repaired power armor. What should I do in GECK? Please tell me.
  6. Yeah I know and I'm not rushing ya.. you can continue as you were.
  7. That Hellfire PA that came with BS looks much better than other Bethesda's Enclave armors.. but I wish it had more fitting body and legs and bigger arms plus evil and intimidating helmet. My point is that I'm still waiting for your Fallout 2 goodness. If you ever finish it... could you re make the T-51b? It would look so much better with a more fitting chest area and smaller/thinner helmet to make it more Falloutish. After all it's T-51b and I've read it should give the user more mobility but it doesn't look like it gives much mobility for arms with that chest in Fallout 3.
  8. Be sure to texture it Fallout 2-wise.
  9. Awesome! Exactly the power armor that enclave in Fallout 3 need! That current bethesda's enclave power armor looks crap.. for crying out loud why is chest and legs so big and arms so thin? That kind of power armor is just meh on a enclave trooper.. good thing someone decided to make the right power armor for the enclave, a power armor from Fallout 2.. AWESOME! It has big arm muscles and legs, fitting chest, that neck thing and that awesome intimidating insect's helmet.. that armor is gonna rock big time. Good job mate.. waiting for that armor to be released. Be sure you fellas make a good texture for that armor.
  10. Not very helpful, are we? :verymad: Ok, for me it doesn't matter anymore but for others it matters (who have had the same problem with freezings). Anyways, I found this thread: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1363362&page=2 "Edit the "FALLOUT.INI" file located in Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3 Make a backup of the INI file before making any changes to it. Search for "bUseThreadedAI=0" and change the value from 0 to 1. Add another line under this and paste in "iNumHWThreads=2" The result should look like this in the ini file: bUseThreadedAI=1 iNumHWThreads=2 Save changes and run the game." I think that did the trick removing those freezes from place like Lucas Simms house or Player's house (for example) for me. 8) Haven't had a single freeze after doing that.
  11. That freezing is starting to get on my nerves. :wallbash: Every house in grayditch has that freeze thing in them and also megaton has some houses where that freezing happens.. when in fullscreen only way to quit the game is to either shut down my computer or end task the game blindly, I do the latter one. And even in that player's personal megaton house that freezing happens.. and it happens when ever it wants.. sometimes after 10 seconds and sometimes after 1 minute. Only way so far to work around in those freezefested houses is to save constantly so my progress with picking up object wouldn't be for nothing. :wallbash: Tried turning off anti-aliasing and anistropic filtering and it didn't change nothing with the freezes. And windowed mode is only good for quiting the game easier when that freezing happens. It ain't the ffdshow either because I don't have it installed. It isn't a sound problem either because I allready tried shutting down the codecs and then playing the game inside a house and still got that freezing.
