Testing this texture stuff today - so far none of the obvious texture overhauls are causing crashing. will start enabling mods one by one now. EDIT: 80% of my mods are reinstalled and most major texture related things are in - no crashing still. I am starting to think that it was some sort of corrupted texture file causing the crashing. will update when i finish installing mods. EDIT2: Fully reinstalled, no crashing. likely some kind of file corruption.

having this issue too - have yet to pin this problem down as it loads correctly 1/10 times. Edit: This issue seems to be afflicting my game even with every mod uninstalled and ENB/Shadowboost removed. hrm. will full uninstall all textures and whatnot as well just to be sure. Full texture uninstall has solved the crashing. now to figure out what is triggering the crash.

Extremely crash prone on an AMD system with latest drivers. two CTDs (AMD video panic both times) and one completely unrecoverable system lockup in <30mins. before installing this I was crashing once every 4-10hrs of gameplay.

so, thieves guild armor is awesome, love the feel of the models. the usefulness of even the guild master's version is short lived as its does not get blacksmithing bonuses and is not enchantable. solution? retexture with dragon scale theme, give it dragonscaleish stats and make it a craftable item. bonus round: flag it as thieves guild armor and add quests to make someone in the ragged flagon craft it, and/or add it to the recipe list from dragonscale smithing perk. the person who can make this happen and do it nicely will be well rewarded with fame and fortune (minus the fortune part)!
