Hi, so I've taken it upon myself to port the Winterized Chinese Commando Armor and Hat, as well as General Jingwei's armor and hat to Fallout: New Vegas for myself, and possibly anyone else when I'm done. My only problem is that the texture for the actual hat for the Winterized Chinese Commando hat, not counting the mask, is coming up with the same textures as the mask itself after porting it. It's fine when checking it on FO3's GECK, but not F:NV's. I don't know what exactly is wrong, and any help will be appreciated. By the way, as far as I've checked, porting is fine, and the tutorials I found on these forums when it came to doing this were pretty wrong too. I just need someone to help, and I'll even send a copy of what I've got to anyone that'll help. Thanks.

A Unique .45 Auto Sub-machine Gun

Also, I tried that after getting no interest, but there are no tutorials on how to use the newest versions of GIMP and GNU and whatnot. Especially not for making versions of DLC weapons. I got as far as making a bland, first-try texture and created a new item in the GECK. After that, I had no help and was unable to finish. -

I don't mean a whole new area. I just mean it should be placed somewhere or with someone that would make since. Like, I was surprised that since these weapons were the White Legs iconic weapon, Salt-Upon-Wounds just had a power glove. Now, if you were to give it to Salt-Upon-Wounds, I think it would need a tribal makeover, or you could simply go your own direction. I just think that going with a unique .45 Auto SMG, a mafia reference of a unique is way too obvious, and that something different would be better.

Am I the only one who saw the .45 Auto S.M.G. from Honest Hearts, and was surprised there was no unique version of this classic weapon when the pistol got it's beautiful unique version, "A Light Shining in Darkness"? Now, it may be a bit much to ask for something well-made, lore-friendly, and good-looking, but that's what I am hoping for. For research, I've searched up a bit about the in-game origin of these weapons, the real life history, and some pictures to introduce ideas. Preferably, as well, the gun would be even greater if it was still compatible with WMX (Weapon Mods Extended). The origin in-game is a National Guard Armory in Spanish Fork, South of Salt Lake City and Provo Bay. In real life, the area is Spanish Fork, Utah, named after the river. I don't exactly know what I am not getting, and I must be an idiot, so could someone explain in great detail how to fix this problem, because the clean saves and the uninstall are all not working, and I don't understand what to do.
