Ideas For Imporving The Fighters Guild In Oblivion
homebasehero replied to LockOs's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
I always thought that this guild should've been called "walk around and find people"-guild instead of fighters guild.... Could you add more combat to the quests? Maybe a little hack 'n slash? -
thanx ;]
-
that would be awesome ;]
-
actually it is like when you complete the DB an activator shows, and when you activate it you get the stuff you got as reward for completing that guild but without value... if you want I could make a script that tells them about your mod - because that is fixed on achievements, and mine is gonna be just a small room
-
euhm dude... I also had an idea about adding an achievement room to my mod.. before I read this... since you had the idea before I did, would it still be okay with you if I added the room?

An artifact from Sheogorath

dude I can't wait until this mod comes out ^^ man I'd love to go around slapping everybody with a frying pan xd when is it gonna be finished? -
Hi everybody ;] I've had this idea quite some time. In this mod you first have to find the location of the castle through maps and old documents. Upon arrival everything is locked execpt for the sewers, which leads to a 5 level hack'n'slash riddle dungeon. Each level has a boss, which holds the key to the next level. Once you've finished the dungeons, you own the castle - but it needs some fixing up. For instance: when you have a broom in your inventory, and activate a rubble pile, it dissapears. When the castle is bakc to it's glorious state, you can enter the chapel, which is dedicated to Boethia. Boethia will speak to you and set you on a set of tasks, after which you become a half-god (you gain a power / spell, armor of the half-god & weapons of the half - god [nothing overpowered though)). In this mod, I'm going to do scripts and putting everything together, and a friend of mine is doing th textures, so I don't really need any help execpt for some good ideas. I also hope you can help me figure this one out: when I make a mod in the construction set, I can play it, but it doesn't appear in the data map, and when I try to do dialogue my set crashes. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me. (I'm using Vista - that's probably the problem)
-
no theres no such thing... but you could simply check all the quests in your construction set and see if you did them

I've played oblivion for 2 years. I've tries about 500 mods, and then resetting my pc over and over again to get rid of them ;] .. I'd be happy to write as many stories as you want, you'll just have to copy the text into the book yourself (I'm a sucky modder) just email me if you're still looking for writers: annedekker1 @ planet.nl (without the spaces) yah, I'm dutch, but there won't be any spelling // grammar mistakes, I'm on biolanguar education. If you mail me, just say what topics you want and I'll write books on them.

Scariest Place in Oblivion
homebasehero replied to CrazyChao's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
in general oblivion : none mods: none yet. I did GtA 1, didn't scare me. I watched to many horror films. But I'm gonna try the Oubliette, and dungeons of Ivellon, so it might change. -
Your most unique Oblivion experience?
homebasehero replied to Herculine's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
One of my ost awesome Oblivion experiences, was standing on dive rock fo the very fist time. 'd just found out about the cheat " tmm 1" and was checking out a lot of locations (I'm way to lazy to run to there by mysekf ;]). WOW. I could see the Imperial city! Another one was just the first time playing. I bought it in 2007, and it was one of th fist games I'd ever bought. I was used to playing onlin dress-up games (I'm a girl don'tcha dare call me gay) and warcraft 3, that kind of sucky games. Then you play Oblivion, and you can do what you want to do. No forced missions, you can pick the kin of fighting style you want, and the game looked very good. There is one last expercience: the first time I finally finished a mod and played it. I'm still a sucky modder, but that mod I'd been working on for 3 months, and it was the first time I played it. Yeah, that felt good, one of my mods worked! (I coukdn't get NPC dialogue or quet dialogu to work though, and where the esp's go I never will know, I can't find them.) -
Hey modders out there ;] I've been working on this mod for quite some time, but since I can't upload it or make my own nif's, maybe someone would like to work out my idea. This mod is huge. Very huge. I've always had a feel that the main questlines were way too short. There is no possible way that there is no work left to be done for the champion of cyrodill, or any of the guildmaster. And the rewards are kinda sucky too. Therefore, I think every guildmaster (and the Champion of Cyrodill) should earn their own fort after finishing the main questline. In these forts, you'll discover a new questline (if you search a little) that consists a 5 small quest each. After the end of each questline, you'll get a keystone that you can use to open up a tomb (if you have all of them) that should contain some awesome items. Each fort will have it's own theme, colour and god. There will be guard, servants and merchants. It's doesn't all have to be forts, for instance the mages guild might ass wel have an ayleid ruin, and the champion of cyrodiil a castle. Every fort should have it's own suit of armor (heavy or light depending on the quest), 2 swords (longsword & claymore) bow + arrows and staff. I'd also like there to be some religious books on the god of that specific god, as most quest involve the gods. I'm also working on a questline that continues after opening the tomb (with the keystones), it's a questline that involves the holy grail (anyone read "the davinci code"?). In my mod, I'd like the deadra to be the good ones, for once. Only mehrunes dagon will be a bad guy. All that is written here is very undetailed. I've got everything figured out (locations, all the quest stages, all the rooms, custom made items & NPC's , litterally everything). If you like the idea, and like to know the detailes, please email me: [email protected] Yeah I'm dutch. So , sorry if I made any mistakes in writing ;] Hope you like the idea.

Hey everybody out there, I'm a newbie in modding, and I finally can create NPCs, and houses and so on, and now I'dd like to make a quest mod. But everytime I open up the qeust window, and than close it again, TES crashes. It does the same thing when I open the dialoge window. When it chrases, I lose all changes to my mod since the last save. There is another problem: I can't find the mods I made. They're not in the data folder. If anybody has any idea where I can find my mods, or how to get rid of the quest / dialoge problem, please say so ;] Thanks (Sorry for my poor English)
