For the original game I had a World Map mod installed that defined the roads better so I could get to my destinations without running into a mountain EVERY SINGLE TIME I headed out! It might have been Bethesda's idea to make the game more challenging, but in fact it just makes it terribly frustrating. I already did a couple play through's with the legacy game and enjoyed it (after installing the World Map mod), but I don't think I can continue with this freebie unless someone uploads a better map for this version of Skyrim.
