  1. My first impressions of New Vegas were pretty strong: it came with many of the mods I had been playing with in FO3. However, the more I explored the Mojave, the more I appreciated the Capital Wasteland. I'm absolutely shocked at the number of people who complain about the copy & paste metros, but not the copy & paste sand and cacti.
  2. It's a single player game open to modding. When you can make the rules up as you go, how do you even define cheating? At first I used TCL to get through a lot of invisible walls, but later decided they are present for a reason (even if I don't agree with it on principle). Also, since I've gotten used to shooters with regular checkpoints, I sometimes forget to hit F5 after a few tough fights. In those cases, I'll use TGM to "reset the playing field" so to speak. If anything though, I put more in to making things harder.
  3. Generally speaking, if it costs a dollar on iTunes, uploading it here, for free, is almost certainly NOT fair use (at least in the US).
  4. So if I follow this thread correctly, I just ran into this issue while trying to modify Tailor Maid to fit Welcome to the Wasteland. I loaded Fallout.esm, and Tailor Maid.esp, then went and removed the Object Effects (ENCHantments), the changes I saved as KFK_Tailor_mod.esp. All this accomplished was two wasted hours, and a series of DUPLICATE000X entries with different FormIDs instead of a mod for Tailor Maid. I had to modify Tailor Maid directly in order to get things to work. *Edit* I did not realize this thread was over 6 months old when I bumped it. Sorry.
