[Black boxes all over some character's faces]

I'm actually having this issue and I don't know how to fix it before doing a complete vanilla. Basically I remove the LOD settings and all the textures from ALOT go vanilla. I update LOD settings and I close in on a DLC characters face (i.e. Petrovsky) and the face and other textures becomes a patchwork to complete black.

Fixed it a few days ago but it narrows down to Mod Manager. Failed to realize that when using it to always run DLC unpacker. The other problem is the shuttle bay deck crashing upon going there. Solution: remove LOD settings when going there and updating when not there.

I've had this issue the past few months and can find no workaround other than using ME3 Explorer. Every time I load a save to start the Leviathan mission, Omega, you name it with LOD settings updated the game crashes (INI settings optimized as well). With the LOD settings removed they load just fine. I'm doing this with just the vanilla textures, SweetFx, Reshade, and several mods which I will list in a moment. I tried through task manager setting MassEffect3.exe affinity to CPU core 0, then 1 onto 6 out of the 7, having both SweetFx and Reshade off, my Nvidia card is updated, AutoTOC as always, and both Binkw32 and 23 in Binaries folder. I can't find anywhere else on this forum of someone having a similar issue regarding LOD settings so I'm asking now for your help. If someone tells me its because I need a 4K monitor, don't tell me until later.
