  1. Of the multiple tedious things to deal with in Skyrim, gathering ingredients has got to be one of them (at least for me). It's fine to do this when you only have a few things to gather but when you're collecting lots of ingredients for a potion batch build and the alchemist shops aren't being helpful with some specific ingredients, this can get to be very tedious. Oblivion had some very handy mods to deal with this--Auto Harvest FLORA by Wonder Dog or Gather Ye Rosebuds by Wolfhound--to name a few. Essentially, the user wouldn't have to actually manually pick any ingredients but instead anything within a specific radius of the user would be automatically harvested. This comes in handy especially for areas like the Frostflow Abyss quest where are approximately 450 Chaurus eggs that can be harvested. Doing this manually is quite tedious.
  2. Oblivion had a mod which allowed you to hold down control or shift when selling an item. This would either force selling one at a time (without any sell "sell how many?" prompts) or would sell all of that one item. This was quite helpful when selling loot though some improvements could still be made. For one, it would be nice to get all skill improvements when selling all of an item, as if we had sold one at a time. It would be even more useful to be able to sell everything we planned on selling in one shot. Something like a bag of selling. Essentially, the player puts everything they want to sell in the bag, then they essentially "sell" the bag to the merchant. The bag stays in the players possession but is emptied of all merchandise (or as much as the vendor can buy as well as just selling items the vendor can buy). Like as before, it would be nice to get all the skill improvement as though we'd sold each item individually. Obviously, there may be better ways of handling this but the main objective is to cut down on the hassle of inventory management and all the hassle of selling this stuff.
  3. Oblivion had a mod (Summonable Private Quarters by LazyMonk) which added a spell that the player could use to open a magical portal to private quarters (essentially a new house). It was only accessible through this portal and the spell could be cast from anywhere. In general this was incredibly useful by itself, not to mention all the useful features built into this house. Incidentally, if anyone is interested in developing something like this it would be an interesting additional feature to allow your wife to move in to this "residence."
  4. In almost every case, the yes/no dialog prompts (or other prompts of a similar nature) are of almost no use and only serve to interrupt gameplay and make it more tedious. There is one notable exception to this and that is when getting all from a container. It would be useful to have a prompt here since on many occasions I have accidentally gotten all and had to put things back. Having to do this repeatedly when such an accident occurs really becomes bothersome the longer you play the game.
