  1. Hello! I don't know is it correct section, but I have issue I uploaded new version of 2 mods and renamed 2 optional files (and reuploaded them) and for some reason mods, which had only minor changes and even only renamed files were automatically quarantined. Here are mods, which I had this issue with. https://www.nexusmods.com/doom/mods/67?tab=files +2 optional files. https://www.nexusmods.com/doom/mods/66?tab=files Also I wanted to ask: how long does it usually take for mods to be approved? I uploaded new version on June the 6th and sent message via email on June the 7th. Should I wait a bit more or should I contact moderators on this forum somewhere? Edited: was just approved! Yay! Thanks to moderators! But still: how long should I wait and where it's better to contact moderators: using email or some section of a forum?
  2. Again - thank you very much! I'll make them separate then. Yeah, I have big plans for it. Hope I'll finish 1st layer within year or so.
  3. Thank you for your reply! I plan to post it as maps+current Overhaul content as 1 mod/ 1 main file. Old version of Ovehaul would be separate version either as separate mod or separate main file. Later I plan to post maps mod separately, but it won't be supported mod (since balance is made for current Overhaul mod and I want to post it separately only just in case someone wants to play just maps). Also maps mod will affect files, which already exist in Overhaul, so I can't post maps only and current files separately as 2 main files (aka they can't be combined without proper integration in 1 mod). Very different means they would be played very differently and have different balance/gameplay. Current Ovehaul mod is made for vanilla maps. Maps mod+current Overhaul will have some changes to balance, would have way more enemies, changes to pick ups, shortcuts, accessiblity of upgrades, changes to platformng etc. It will also include new enemy and enemy variations from other mod author assets (I have permission and this mod assests are free to use). Yeah, I was concerned regarding mod splitting. I just don't understand, when it's fine to post collection of mods or split mods. All current mods, which included in Overhaul were originally created as separate mods. But with maps mod or with my desire to post changes from 1 mod for 2 weapons as separate mods I just don't know, is it fair thing according to rules or I break something. I looked at it and as said, I'm not sure with part regarding mod splitting.
  4. Hello! Sorry, I don't know, if it's appropriate section. but I have a question regarding posting mods on Nexus. Not long ago new info was announced regarding points, which recommended to not separate mods, when possible. I have mod, which is fully integrated compilation of my mods, which is also my main project https://www.nexusmods.com/doom/mods/67. Eventually (currently working on it), I plan to expand this mod greatly with maps addition, but I want to keep previous version of a mod without maps too. Should I keep both versions of this mod as main file and same mod or can I make these versions of mod separate, since they'll be very different?
