  1. Sorry still no joy. It starts to activate but quickly cuts out before the procedure is complete.
  2. Only in Skyrim Nexus, when I press the images tab nothing appears. It works in the other games nexus.
  3. I had the same problem with SKSE crashing to desktop. This is how I sorted it. SKSE is a 7zip file and I had unpacked it with WinRAR. So I then removed SKSE from the Skyrim file, I then unpacked it again but this time with 7zip. I then loaded this version (the 7zip unpacked one) into Skyrim and it has worked ever since. I got this info from somewhere on tesnexus at the time; the relative parts are copied below. “The download file is a 7z archive and must be extracted using the freely available 7zip archive tool” It then goes on to say. “Caution: using WinZip, WinRAR or most other archive utilities will result in corrupt files.” I hope that helps. As I said it worked for me. Good luck.
  4. Have a look at this link http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/810920325460240676/ it seems to be a recent problem. The consensus is that it is a Steam problem which they need to fix as it seems to affect all Steam games on your system. I can confirm this as I have the same problem. I have had this problem for the last couple of days. Yesterday it went away for a few hours, came back again, went away and is now back again. A solution that works for me is to exit Steam via the task bar and restart Steam. Unfortunately you have to do this every time you exit your game, but it will allow you to play.
  5. Got it OK after some scratching and searching. For those of you who may have the same troubles as myself left click over your screen name. On the drop down menu select “Preferences”. Under “Global Preferences” select “File download method” near the bottom. There are two alternatives so chose the one you are not using, in my case “Separate page” and then press submit. Go to your game page and hopefully you will be able to download. It worked for me on IE9.
  6. IE 9 on Vista Sorry to say that the same thing is happening to me now as well on TES. After I changed compatibility mode everything worked fine and everything looked fine. When I tried to download just now the same symptoms as described above happened, hence I can’t download. Sometimes the screen just goes grey, sometimes with the wheel icon and also sometimes with the log on screen, even thought I am logged in. I have tried it on Dragon Age and Witcher with the same results. It is working fine on Chrome but not on IE. I notice that you have just changed your page format; can that have anything to do with things? Wishing you luck.
  7. Playing with compatibility mode works for me, thanks.
  8. Thandal, your screenshot is very much the same for me but on the TES page with IE9. The other game pages show up fine, it’s only the one dealing with the TES page that is bugged. Very strange.
  9. This has probably already been mentioned. For me on IE the TESNEXUS is the only one that seems to have major problems the other four Nexus look and seem to be working fine. I must admit that I haven’t tried to download anything from them as I am not playing these games at the moment. Vista using IE9
  10. Reading the advice written on this forum regarding the problems with IE with this new update, I decided to download Google Chrome and give it a go. Everything seems to work with Google Chrome, fingers crossed, so I can use this as a work around until the bugs have been ironed out with IE.
  11. In my opinion a backward step and a total mess I am afraid. Also the fact that I can’t download anything makes the whole exercise pointless. The whole design is a nightmare with items overlapping each other, and navigating it is not as straight forward as the old one. The old adage of “if it isn’t broke don’t fix it” seems to apply here. You could have members leaving the site in frustration if you are not careful.
