  1. I'm a simple man, and I'm not asking for much I hope. All I want, is to have our 9ft tall goddess Marika sitting on the player's lap in any of the endings where we're also sitting on the throne.
  2. Well, I originally uninstalled the mods, and the problem was still around. It was particularly odd, seeing the original face textures with the black heads, but after all this, I decided to just bite the bullet and reinstall. I still don't know what caused this precisely, or a better way to fix it - but more importantly, is there any reliable way to prevent this from happening when using mods of this type?
  3. I guess I should just reinstall like Valkasha suggested then?
  4. Oh, not what I meant! Everything is still in there in the data folder. I was just asking if deleting them, and then letting steam do that game cache restore would work. Is it just a texture BSA that's responsible for this though? Or also any of those mapping things?
  5. The only things I can think of that would do anything to them would be CBBE and Better Females by Bella: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2666/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26113/? CBBE also includes a face overhaul which comes along as a fully compatible option. Previously, I had tried this and it worked - later I added on the Better Females, which was also compatible. It wasn't until I attempted trying out different version's of Better Females by Bella that the whole Dark/Black face bug appeared. Since it's a mod for all female characters and not just any individual NPC, I'm completely stumped as to how I'm ever going to possibly do that Creation Kit fix for all of them. What I can't figure out in particular is that if I use the Nexus Mod Manager to uninstall both mods, the default faces and bodies are back, but their heads remain discolored. Alternatively, is it possible to simply delete all female textures and such and not replace them with anything else? Would steam detect that there's files missing in Skyrim, and replace them with the vanilla set?
  6. Is anyone able to toss me a bone here? If it really were an incompatible texture, simply removing it and reverting back to default would have solved the problem, right? Assuming it's not an incompatible texture mod - the faces can get nearly pitch black - I'm not entirely familiar with the process of using the Creation Kit to do the editing detailed in the wiki. Even then, the process would be a little different since there's no box besides Skyrim's to check off to go along with it, and I'd likely have to do it for every single female there is. Which, I'm not eve sure if there's away to do it with all of them at once and get it over with. Considering the amount of NPC's running around, it seems like an impossible task. Are there any alternatives? Somehow reverting the heads back to their default state?
  7. The face mod specifically said it was compatable with the body - and the darkness of the faces is very signifigant as well. Not just a minor difference in shade. Even removing both texture mods, I see that the faces are still next to black.
  8. I'm well aware that this has been around for a while, but unlike the help topics I've been able to find - google included - I can't find what I need for my specific problem. Instead of just one or two or a few NPCs being affected, it's all the females.Minus the Argonians and Khajit of course. I initially had 'Better Females by Bella' installed which worked fine, but after trying out different face mods, the bug or glitch appeared on all women. It seems a bit different than usual though - besides the face being too dark, it can also be too bright. This depends on the lighting at times though, but is usually too dark. I do use lighting mods, but I don't think they're the root problem. My question is, how do I fix this for all female characters, and not just a few? There's simply too many for me to pick out with the creation kit.
  9. Yes please! It may actually LOOK as though it belonged!
  10. A realism mod which makes it feel more like STALKER; someone else said this, and I agree deeply. Fallout 3's combat feels kinda bioshock-ish in that you can pull up the good ol pip-boy and pop some stims whenever. Someone also mentioned ironsights (i think thats on the list). Someone else said this too, but auto-aim must die! Alright, alright, what I am trying to say is that I think things would be easier to manage if there was a 'super mod pack' or something. Download the whole thing and pick and choose what one wants to alter how the game feels etc, etc. Or maybe the pressure from finals is grinding my brain to pulp, I dunno. Would help plenty if the whole package was kept neatly updated or something; "Mega-Collaboration Mod" anyone?
