Is there a way to close or back out of an endless load screen without having to restart my computer?

Just started playing this on pc, played on 360 for a while and I'm looking for something different since a lot of the mods are good but the gameplay stays the same for the most part.I have been thinking of using the skre overhaul but I have never used an overhaul and was wondering about a few things. 1. What mods are likely not to be compatible with it? 2. If I want to go back and play another character without skre for a while can I just uncheck the mod in the load queue then recheck it when I play the skre character?

When I download updates (ex. the Tera armor) or files from the same person like the I can only have one file active.(ex. Eyes of Beauty can have player eyes or npc but not both). How do activate all of them?
