Iv'e tried both ini. files too. It's the strangest thing Iv'e modded before but not on Skyrim and never had any problems. I also tried uninstalling and re installing the game and similar results. It's as if when i download it the Skyrimprefs folder isn't complete :S

Exactly as you have it, does it matter where I write the title and lines in the Pref?

Can anyone help me. I downloaded the "dragon lord castle mod" but when I open my launcher to enable Data Files it's not there. So I went into my Skyrimprefs in My Documents and went to add the required lines under the title [launcher] but the title isn't there? I've tried to manually add the title and lines to enable the data files option, but this still doesn't work! yes i am saving the file after I edit it.
