  1. 1) If you are CTDing at the character generation/showracemenu, you can use the 'Showrace Menu Precache Killer' which should stabilize character generation and editing. 2) Pick only one body mod (7Base, CBBE, UNB, etc.). Then you will need default game clothing/armour mods made specifically for the body mod you have chosen, so that default game/vanilla clothing and armour will conform to the shape of the custom body. From there on, when you want to download a custom female armour, you need to check the mod description and readme to see if the custom female armour was designed to be compatible with the female body mod you are using. When it comes to body mods, which would you recommend?
  2. Ugh nevermind my own stupidity is at fault. The fix was for the Temptress race. It was a CBBEv3 Neck Seam Fix. The issue was that the mod maker didn't say it was directly in the optional files. And because of my stupidity I just searched it up on google and it gave me a hacked version of it which had a virus.
  3. Thank you so much. Exactly what I needed. Sadly from what I found out not all files or download recommendations are safe on this site. Was downloading the Temptress Race, and for my body mod at the time (CBBE) there was a link for a texture fix for the Temptress race armor which is based on UNP...Well...Lets just say it didn't go well. I had to completely restore my computer to factory default.
  4. I'm a semi new person to Nexus and this is my first time in forums. I need some help with figuring out standard mods to put in Skyrim to use as a base before I put in bigger mods. I know a few of the basics such as SKSE is pretty much standard. But beyond that I'm pretty clueless on what's best to install, and I've had to completely fresh install my Skyrim. I use NMM, Wyre Bash and BOSS to help with my load order issue. The main issue I have with downloading mods is that it feels like I'm always overwriting the wrong info. If anyone knows some good mods to use please let me know! The mods I've mainly used are SKSE, Skyrim 4GB, RealVision ENB and Enhanced Lights and FX, A Better Life and UI . I can get those all working just fine, but after that I'm clueless what to do when it comes for texture packs, body mods, races, skeletons, animations, textures, Etc. If I do that I usually just break my game to the point I can't change my gender to a female without a CTD. Sorry if this is really drawn out but short story. I need help figuring out what mods to actually download and better knowledge on what to overwrite and what not to when it comes to different body mods like 7B, UNP, etc. Working with XP32 and that working with different textures for the body mod. If anyone can help me out it would be very much appreciated.
