  1. Would like to know if there is a console command to specifically give what is affecting the player (as in ID?) so that you could then remove said effect in the console. Would be cleanest way.
  2. Solved... by myself. player.modav magicka 165 Now I have the white number in magicka, and player.getavinfo magicka gives me perm: 0.00 HOORAY!!! So whatever mod(s) screwed up is not important. No need to reinstall/uncheck mods and all that pain. Glitch over.
  3. Looking at magicka, it is in the red and at a very low number - something nerfed it. Of course, nothing shows up as affecting me, no disease, no equipment, no effect. I have a slew of mods installed. player.getavinfo magicka returns: current value: 85.00 computed base: 250.00 base value components: reference base value: 100.00 (auto calculated) modifiers: temp: 0.00 Perm: -165.00 damage: 0.00 The temp is from frostfall. I also have realistic needs and diseases and wet and cold (which last one does not affect stats I believe). This has happened during the Helgen reborn quest, in which I helped Sorian defeat a dragon priest. Of course looking at MAGIC tab does nothing, as no effects are listed (I unequipped everything). Questions: 1) What is console command to see WHAT THE **** affects my magicka perm to NEGATIVE 165? 2) How the **** do I fix this? Much obliged. PS I do have the "invested magic" mod, which might be the culprit. Grasping at straws until I learn the console command to check what is affecting my player.
  4. SOLVED. Let me repeat this - solved. Console time. player.addspell c4de1 this is vampire sight run this power. blur on edges is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Yes, I am excited.
  5. Am running with this one for combat and the difference is staggering (pun!). The AI actors work together to flank, they stay alert after an arrow instead of giving up i.e. real life behaviour of people looking for shooter (me) for a long time as opposed to "oh well, so Karl got killed, lets ignore this and get back to idles". And the combat mechanic is great - shields and blocking are useful, and when a hit connects it hurts, as it should.
