  1. oh yes! please, dear god, somebody hack this! that colour is bloody awful! >_<
  2. okay. i see what you're saying. i just loaded a replacement set of shades into my mod & boink! there it was. thanks for the clear help. :) WR!
  3. ah. i think i understand. if i remember correctly, when i right click, the only options i see are move up/down, hide no conflict & column width. no add or edit. but i'll give it another whirl here in a bit and let you know. it's very likely i cocked something into a hat... lol. thanks again! WR!
  4. davidallen: i was expecting to see three columns, one with the Fallout.esm and one with my the mod i'm working on so i can drag the HeadModel FaceGen flag over since GECK doesn't write that flag for some really retarded reason... as it is...there is neither a third column to drag from nor a scroll bar to bring elusive third column into view... :( it is dependant on both the FalloutNV.esm and the other mod that i'm using as a reference, but neither of those show up as a column. the manual (yup, i *actually* READ the manual!!) shows a great snap of what i have been used to seeing; three columns. so i'm not sure what's changed. i even went waaay back to earlier versions and same thing... so i'm wondering what in the world i'm doing wrong. i just want to correct that 90deg headgear problem. :P lol. thanks for actually responding, btw. thought this was going into the wind... WR!
  5. here's something odd. i used FNVEdit just fine when i had WinXP 64bit. worked like magic. i just upgraded to Win7 64bit. after reinstalling everything, FNVEdit now only has TWO columns! WHAAAAAT!? :wallbash: anyone else have this problem? is there a fix? i can't fix those damn cockeyed eyeglass flags with only two columns! it's almost like the columns are on top of eachother? i've attached a screensnap: hope someone knows a fix! :P WR!
  6. thanks for the information. very good. i did, however, discover a MUCH simpler fix... or sorts, still using NVEdit, i noticed that my mod had a ton of armor in the file that i never modified, but did look at. i thought this may be some kind of 'oops! he touched it, better save it' kind of situation. i thought to myself 'there's no way i'm going to reset the flag on ALL of these items... especially since the Master File all had them properly set. this got me thinking... anyway. i boldly selected everything that wasn't a part of my mods, scipts, &c. and them selected 'Remove' from the rightclickmenu (the one near the bottom of the list). i switched the flag for my mod and exited, saving the file as i did. it saved easily. then i kicked up the game & PRESTO!! the result was that ALL headgear was now behaving properly and the mod file itself was smaller... which is always good. thanks for the help. the thread you pointed me to is great, but an utterly stupid thread title... tells us nothing (drives me nuts when people do that). no wonder i didn't find it... WR! :woot:

  8. you are a magical net-smurf sprinkling my gameland with delicious candy goodness! :woot: i'll give it a shot and update if it works... also apologies for not finding the thread on my own. my searching criteria obviously stunk. WR! :woot:
  9. Hey Crew! have a look at the attached screengrab. EVERY hat/helmet/eyewear is cocked sideways. i've tried the Character > Update FaceGen blah blah in the G.E.C.K. but no soap!! this is a VERY annoying glitch. anyone else suffering from this problem? anyone know how to fix it? i should probably note that my own toon's headwear is also cockeyed the same 90 degrees as all other toons in the game... :wallbash: TIA for the help! WR! :woot:
