Top bloke, true gent!

Having this same exact issue and it makes using the site impossible.

Any clues as to why this is happening and if a fix is coming? Best place to ask?

Thanks for the link Iofgren and I'm now tracking a few of these mods in preparation for a new game, once a few other mods I'm tracking have had there upcoming updates released. Hunterborn in particular is a favourite of mine which is, I believe having some new touches put to it along with DLC support. Cheers again for the help.

Yes I've found a few although as I previously stated other mods that do a similar thing don't seem to be supported any longer. I am interested in Resplendant though. Seems like the author has made a number of other great mods too aswell as keeping up with support. There are some great modders out there and I would love to become efficient at creating my own mods some day. Just wish I could find some well made tutorials.

Can't believe I poste this and less than an hour later I find : Resplendent - Races of Skyrim mod which has pretty much already done the job. Maybe seems a little OP but is worth a look.

Having watched some Youtube videos of the "best" race build in the early days of Skyrims release it seemed obvious there was an obvious flaw with the Vanilla racial abilities and powers. My disappointment with the Bosmer ability to command animals for only 60 seconds and ONLY once per day was enough for me to start a topic as to the possibility of grabbing the attention of one of the amazing Mod authors that fill the nexus. There are some old mods hanging about that change the abilities & powers but they seem dead in the water and to be honest lack that imagination that could lead to a much more fulfilling style of gameplay. Such a mod that could change the abilities to be more appealing would I'm sure be a welcome sight to many the Skyrim veteran. My ideas would be as such: Three or four abilities for each race for example: Bosmer power to increase bow draw speed by 4x for 120 seconds - Once per 2 ingame hours Bosmer power to command animal for 240 seconds - Once per 6 ingame hours Bosmer ability to canobolize dead humanoids to gain 10% extra bow damage - Lasts for 720 seconds Bosmer ability +2 damage to any crafted arrows - PassiveThese are just some quick ideas for one race but there could be even better more interesting ideas I'm sure. If any of these could be implemented on to the NPCs in the game too then all the better. Unfortunately I have no idea of the scope of work that would be required for this to become a reality but if I had someone willing to point me in the right direction (being that I have no experience with creating mods whatsoever) I have plenty of time to kill and would work my arse off to see this created. Of course if any of the amazing existing, talented mod authors out there were to take this idea on I would love to contribute ideas and any time I could to help bring it to fruition. Ideas anyone???
