  1. So as the title says, I think I screwed things up. I'm trying to install Bevilex's modlist but with some additions like Better Cities, UL, etc. and it works for a time but recently has been crashing within 15 minutes of playtime and the water's totally messed up. It does not render right looking directly at it, instead, I have to look down almost to where I can't see the horizon and the tiop begins to render like in the attached picture. Underwater functions just fine. I followed the installation instructions of all the mods to the letter and I ran BOSS and rebuilt the bashed patch with Wrye Bash with every single mod I downloaded, regardless of it it had an .esp or .dll. I haven't downloaded the ENB I'd like yet or Oblivion Reloaded, I've run TES4LODGEN, tried to use TES4Edit, and I've tried tws in the console, didn't work. I'd appreciate any help or advice! My specs: Win 10 64 Bit, Intel i5-7300HQ Quad Core (6MB Cache, up to 3.5 GHz), 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, 842 GB free storage Bain Packages: Active Mod Files::
  2. As title says, I have been trying to follow Bevilex' modding list and AWLS does not seem to work like other mods.   5. Perhaps this is a stupid question, but I've been looking for my first first character texture mod and found the gorgeous Oblivion Character Overhaul V2. I am sold on it completely for the base game, but I noticed in the comments for it that someone playing it with Morroblivion said npc's looked, "horrifying". Because of the custom races (and what seems like a mix of bosmeri and khajiiti facial textures), will this be a significant problem if I wanted it and Elsweyr? I am unable to test at the moment with my gaming PC in for repairs but was curious if anyone else has seen what effects they have together, or if anyone would be kind enough to test. Thanks!

  9. I remember a while back hearing about a mod that added in something like a flintlock pistol to the game. I liked the concept because it wasn't some M16 or AK47 and because you could make it fit into the lore(Dwemer experimenting with new ranged weapon). However, I haven't been able to find anything on it. Anyone see something like this? Just please don't link me to Kendo's Gun mod. I like the idea of a firearm being lore-friendly, not something that's futuristic own-everyone-in-sight, you know?
  10. I've had this mod idea in my head for a long time. It originally started of as a quest idea for some kind of powerful Ayleid artifact and it ended up becoming much more. Isle of St. Tinia is a small island far out out in the Topal Bay. Originally it was a unimportant mineral mine, but two factors changed everything for the small island. The first was the sudden discovery of rich gold veins and precious stones in the mines. The second was because of more and more vicious pirate attacks along the coast, merchant ships changed routes and found a safe haven in St. Tinia's natural lagoon and new found guards. As more and more merchants came, the call for a new city to be built became too much and after some investments by more wealthy merchants, the City of New Leyawiin was founded. The city itself (similar to Mont St. Michel in France) was protected by low walls and Fort Bellamonte (named after one of the most prestigious merchant families that had funded much of the building on the Isle), unique for it's state of the art weapon:the cannon. Everyone on the island prospered, from wealthy merchants and the Commander of Fort Bellamonte down to the mine workers, laborers and even thieves. Everything seemed perfect for the inhabitants of the island, until one day a some of the miners who had been excavating under the Fort became deathly sick. Nothing could alleviate their suffering and any healing magic performed on them not only harmed the miners, but also the spellcasters, whose misguided attempts at healing made them the harbingers of the disease. As it the plague spread and people fled for their lives, the pirates who had once made a killing in pillaging the coast before the success of New Leyawiin, attacked with their entire fleet. The battle was one sided and the pirates robbed and stole from each ship before sinking them to the bottom of the bay.. One ship, the Cez' Arran, tried to make it to Bravil to sell their booty to the corrupt count. However, the plague(which the pirates contracted when they plundered the ships of the fleeing townspeople) had other plans, and soon the plague ship(now riding on currents) drifting into the Imperial Waterfront. The player hears about this by asking around the city for rumors. Citizens say that a ship got beached near the Waterfront, but that guards have locked down the entire area, moving all the citizens in that area to the various inns in the City. Upon finding the ship, the guards will be hostile towards the player, telling him/her to leave immediately. However the elderly head of the investigation sees promise in the player and pulls him away from the ship to the tent that serves as their command center.Speaking to him privately, he offers the player a position in the investigation as the first to go into the plague ship. I'll continue later but I'm too tired right now(as it's 2 AM where I am lol). I'll continue writing if people seem interested in my idea.
  11. Hi im looking for a mod that makes it so that when you kill a vampire, the corpse bursts into flames. I remember seeing it before but i cant remember if its part of a larger mod and I've had no luck finding it. Can someone else help?

  14. I while back I saw a mod that changed the way you walked if you had a staff equipped. At the time, I passed by it and didn't dl or bookmark it. But know I remembered it and thought it would be a good addition to my game except I can't seem to find the mod. Could someone please find this mod and get back to me? Thanks in advance.

  16. Hello everyone! I've had this idea in my head for a while now but didn't have the time/ability needed to make it. Basically, I was watching previews for the multiplayer in the new Assassin's Creed game and I though the outfit that the Courtesan character wears would be great for my character in Oblivion. I was wondering if anyone who has the skill/time necessary to do this would take a look and maybe create it!
