True... Could I use the texture only over an existing mesh to make it "look" like a solar panel? I am thinking maybe a slanted roof tile like the ones used in the green houses. There is a very cool mod with those tiles. Maybe he could point me at a tile I could recycle.

This is the base id for the solar panels in New Vegas 0015ecd9 I was trying to figure out a way to just make a simple mod by changing the texture skin on the small generator and eliminating the sound on that item. I could use some guidance unless someone else wants to go forth with this idea.
