  3. One german-speaking modder on the High Rock team put together an unbelievably epic catacomb tileset, which will be used for the crypt dungeon type. More on the facebook page, although most content on there is related to Cyrodiil.
  4. This thread could do with a recent screenshot from the facebook. The clement weather of southeastern High Rock:
  5. We were recently forced to abandon the idea of a united heightmap for all of Tamriel, as it was found that a worldspace of this size would have at least one crippling havok bug. For the sake of the Iliac Bay (which I personally believe will be one of the most spectacular locations), High Rock and Hammerfell will stay in one worldspace. Morcroft, our dilligent geomancer, has just finished and released this worldspace to the modders of Beyond Skyrim. Fortunately, Zilav of the TES5Edit team supplied a script that lets us port all of our work in Hammerfell and High Rock to the new worldspace. As if I didn't already owe them my body and soul :P
  6. It's a shame that all of those images are from TES4. I found an image from Hochfels, but it probably dates from before they became affilitated with Beyond Skyrim.
  7. That's how I joined, actually. I made a deliberate effort to learn scripting and NPC programming to benefit the project. I believe landscaping and modeling are among the most requested skills. It's certainly possible to acquire a valuable skillset, as long as you're willing to put a bit of effort into it.
  8. My performance suffers under open cities, but that's because my computer predates even the previous console generation. It'll be no problem by the current standards, let alone by the time the first release goes out... Besides, closing stuff off makes development more complicated.
  9. Yes please! We could really use more level designers. The team that's working on the Eastern Kingdoms area has done stellar work, but they can't do it alone.
  10. This is news to me. Has it been discussed anywhere on the forums? If not, I really urge you to reconsider.
  11. I'm not on this team, myself, but I daresay Cyrodiil has the biggest momentum out of all the provinces.
  12. Travel to Cyrodiil is going to be moved to Dark Creations. The heightmap is nearly ready to begin work on. If you really are willing to contribute, make an account at Dark Creations once Travel to Cyrodiil gets a subforum and apply. Quests may not be relevant at such an early stage, but populating the world with NPCs can be. Don't be ridiculous.
  13. Sorry, but no. Even I could add a gatehouse, a map marker and some random statics. The 'mod' has not been updated since the 15th of february, which is probably when he realised that adding a "fully created tamriel" is a bit hard to do when you have no heightmap, no help, and best of all, no modding experience. At best, this is a ballsy claim with no work to show for it. Have you read the part where he says "Let's also add everything from the mod jam video, because hey, how hard could it be"? Travel to Cyrodiil is a more realistic project, but people seem to prefer recommending some ridiculous fluff text with a crappy download attached that gets everyone's hopes up. What if I make a static ship, say "this ship will eventually sail all over nirn" and upload the mod to nexus under the name "Nirn Fully Created"? Will I be famous too?
  14. Bump! This is a cool project, folks. Maybe posting the logo would entice some candidates?
