  1. I used to have a mod for F4 that added various objects that you and settlers could interact with. They didn't really do anything except play an animation but they were interesting to have around. I distinctly remember there was a box of weapons you could inspect, a sofa you could sleep on, various institute-themed things, and a little thing that let you 'lean' on a doorframe. Does anyone have any idea what the mod is?

  2. A mod has mysteriously transformed Nightgate Inn into a village called Heljarchen but I can't figure out which one it is. Clicking stuff in the console to get the load order id suggests it's from the Arms of Chaos creation club mod but that doesn't seem right to me. Does anyone have any ideas? I be confuzzled.

  3. I'm having a freezing problem when I approach Ansilvund and can't find source of error. I've checked the integrity of local files with steam, run FNIS, but this error keeps happening? Did you ever find what the problem was? I'm not running Bruma mod.

    IIRC I found the issue was something to do with the meshes, temporarily renaming the folder caused some minor graphical problems but stopped the game crashing

  4. Found an odd little thing. Disabling just the Bruma mod and everything associated with it and attempting to load the save gives the "The save game is corrupted and cannot be loaded" error, which puts me back to the main menu. However, attempting to load it a second time lets it load with no error but still causes the crash when approaching Ansilvund.

  5. Whenever I approach the area around the entrance to Ansilvund the game CTDs with no error, and there are also some other areas close to it that seem to have the same effect, and all of the areas are consistent. Every mod except Wyrmstooth has been downloaded with Vortex, I organise my mods with LOOT and I use Wrye Bash for Bashed patches and enabling/disabling mods. I've tried disabling as many mods as I can while getting Skyrim to keep being able to run but the same problem always occurs without fail, and disabling too many mods causes the game to crash upon loading the save with a brief error that quickly disappears, probably stating that the save is corrupt or something. Everywhere else SSE seems remarkably stable, moreso than my regular edition which I have also modded the F out of.

  6. The most obvious mod affecting XP is "XP_Slower_40.esp".

     

    "Skill Books" do not normally give XP. Why do you think a "skill book" is behind the change?

     

    I actually meant the amount of skill points you get from skill books, not experience. My mistake.

     

    Looking at it I think the culprit is TTWOptions.esp, the problem is that I can't seem to configure it in the mod configuration menu.

  7. One of my mods has changed the amount of experience you get from reading skill books and I'd like to find out which one it is. Is there any easy way to do this without disabling every single mod one by one?

  8. I'm just spitballing here, but have you made sure your mod list has the correct load order? BOSS is a great utility that will do it for you. I would give it a shot and report your results after.

    I don't use BOSS but I do use LOOT, which afaik is an updated version of BOSS.

    Anyway I haven't had any more problems so I guess it's fixed.

  9. For some reason whenever I close the journal and sometimes when I open it the game either freezes or begins stuttering massively. I've pinned the problem down to something OBSE-related, as I don't have these problems when using the normal launcher instead of OBSE.

    Title pretty much says all. I have an Ebony Mail texture mod and .esp fix file but I installed both of those AFTER I found out the mail was bugged.

    It is invisible in both first person and third person, on both my character and NPCs. It still has a fully functioning "preview image" in the inventory and also still functions as armour with the poison and stealth effects.

    This only affects Ebony Mail and not other Ebony armour or weapons.

     

    On a partially related note I also get semi-frequent CTD's with no error when entering or shortly after entering a new error. This doesn't bother me too much because so far it has not corrupted any save files whatsoever.

  11. For personal use I'd like the daedric quest ebony blade to be un-fixed.

     

    So in essence, I'd like it to use one-handed weapon perks, and have its damage, weight, weapon reach, sound files, impact force, and stamina use configured to one-handed skill values whilst remaining a two-handed weapon, using and levelling the two-handed skill. It should also receive a damage bonus from the fortify one-handed enchantment rather than two-handed.

    So, basically how it was before it was patched.

     

    I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could make this for me.

  12. My MMM settings are:

    Slightly increased spawns (1-2)

    Reduced Wasteland Spawns: 12% less spawns

    DLC increased spawns on

    New behemoths chance on

    Ghoul rampage chance: x1

    Ghoul rise chance: 0

    Size scaling on

    Hunting and looting off

    Corpse flies on

    Skeleton decay off

    All new monsters on

    Soft unlevelling standard (12% chance)

    Dynamic player scaling off

     

    I don't think it's related to extra enemies spawning though; I tend to create my character as an outcast, and there are a decent number of raider spawns in the area near fort independence, and I have no crashing or slowndown issues when fighting them.

  13. My game is running a lot smoother now, but it's still crashing. However, I noticed that these times when I got near the area all the textures were in low resolution.

     

    I always create a new character for whenever I'm testing to see if it'll crash again.

    Also, do use the multi-core fix and have tested it with iNumHWThreads= set to both 1 and 2 with no noticeable difference.

  14. Apparently fellout is only incorrectly marked as an .esm when using the Paradox Ignition version; when using the regular version it is marked correctly, but that does mean I need to use the DLC support .esp's.

    Either way, It still crashes when going near super duper mart.

  15. I think I did it all right, but in FOMM has an issue where the plugin has the file extension .esp, but its file header marks it as an esm, and I've no idea what that even means.

    Also I still get the same crashing problems, but that might be because I'm using an old save because I can't be bothered to change all my FWE and MMM settings again.

    I'll go make a new character and come back.

  16. So recently I've installed a bunch of mods including FWE, MMM, and EVE, and they all seem to be working fine. However, whenever I try to travel to super duper mart (or the area around it) I get a CTD. I've also found that I can COC to the super duper mart exterior, but that also causes massive slowdown and eventually another CTD, but I can COC to the interior with no apparent problems (other than the inconvenient location.) I'm assuming it's mod related but I have no idea which one and I'm too impatient to enable and disable each of them one by one.
