The majority of mods that I try to download won't unzip when I download them manually (won't unzip with winrar OR 7zip). however if I try to use NMM, then it wont complete the download, saying that there is an error. Any Ideas? could the files be corrupted? I wouldn't think that they would be, considering they are some of the top mods on the website, both by popularity and downloads.

So I've gotten my mod extracted into the data files, and I've accessed the mod through the launcher and checked the tick box. but when I got into my game, the mod was not active. Any suggestions or help? It's an equipping overhaul, btw.

Well it's an equipping overhaul, and it doesn't need to be extracted directly to the data folder, does it? could i extract it to the desktop and then move it to the data folders?

I downloaded a mod for Skyrim, and i got it unzipped and extracted and placed in the data folder. but when i go into the data files via the launcher, the mod wont show up next to the other mods with the checkboxes. could someone please help me?

I'll make sure to check the file sizes, but i have tried multiple times to download it, and throughout different times of the day.

I can't seem to unzip the files that come with the "Immersive Armors", "Immersive weapons", and "Cloaks of Skyrim" mods. Now, of course I didn't try to do them all at once. but none of them seem to unzip. I get the message that my file "cannot be opened as an archive". I don't think they are corrupted, because nobody else seems to be able to use it just fine. Does anyone have any ideas or fixes that could help me? If it helps any, I use 7-zip for the most part, but i also have Winrar. Neither of the two worked.
