[Leliana's Song issues]

ive just come on here to post the exact same problem. love to know if you managed to 'fix' it as im stuck!!

Ive been careful and installed all my mods using DAModder. i have unticked them all and ive tried playing leliana's song with and with the DLC.

Im stuck for ideas myself... it sux

After many many months of trial and error, load and reload, multiple reinstalls ive finally got Dragon Age up and running with the mods that i want to use.

Problem is in lothering.....

 

Im stuck in the chapel and when i leave my game crashes. Ive rolled back my saves and tried and tried again but im still stuck!!!

 

It must be a mod thats doing this so how do i find out which one?

 

This is what i plan to do, would it work?

 

Load up draon age then goto the downloads and untick eveything except the DLC's then forceload my game and try and exit the chapel. If it works reload my game, go to the download screen and tick each mod (to install) and forceload my game until i 'possibly find' the mod thats causing the problem.

The mods are conflcting.

I had the same problem (I think). When i choose a preset face once i got half way the game crashed.

Try this mod. Its a compilation of mods and it works wonders. Im using it and havnt had any problems when creating a character

[Problems with DLC and mods after new 1.4 patch]

Main problem im having is with the Lelian DLC. When i got o level up my characters there arnt many if any options to choose from. Leliana's ok, but with mage i havnt got any spells to choose, its empty!

 

Also the tactics ado not work.

 

 

Mod - ive got Emissary installed and i thought id have a run through it today. Again, same problem as above. Also nobody attacks me.... im walking around with nothing to do!

 

Anybody else have these problems?

[Skin Discoloration Head/Body Problem]

i have the same problem so im interested in what people have to say about this. I guess its a case of you can change the colour of the characters face (tone) but not the body which makes it look naff!

 

Best way would be to try and tone down the face to match the colour of the body...... which will be guess work.

his is my load order, al works great (phew!!) except im havin trouble with my eys / hair mods.

Im playin as a male character and i want a good selection of eyes and hair to choose from. I think ive installed to many hair mods and thats whats gone wrong.

help would be appreciated as ive been loading and installing fallout 3 for the past week tryin to get it to work and ive finally got it how i want except for this little problem :rolleyes:

Is it best to install them using the mod installer or just drag them into the data folder?

 

I would presume the mod installer as its easier to remove / turn them off if theres a conflict.

 

But what about mods that just change textures?

I want to install mods that change the way fallout looks such as high resolution textures. These folders tend to just have a texture folder.

Should i just put these into the data folder or use the mod manager? would it still load them into the relevant files and would they still work?

Love the elder scrolls games and fallout 3.

 

got them all except fallout 3 for both the 360 and pc. kinda movin towards pc gaming mainly due to the mods. some of the work you guys do is amazing (if any of you modders are on here)

 

anyway,1st time on this forum so ill have a look around 1st to get my bearings.

 

might need a bit of help in a few weeks. Im waiting to get Windows 7 when its released in October (hopefully) so its a clean install of the OS and also my games.

Havnt got any games installed at the moment on my PC as im running windows 7 RC (fallout 3 works on it though) i just dont see any point installin them until i get an actual real copy of windows 7.

 

Just deleted Fallout 3 as i installed to many mods on it and the game didnt play well. kept freezing when i got to the Vault and tried to get to Megaton or Springvale.

Gonna stick to my 360 for a few weeks until i get my pc sorted.

 

erm... pc's good (specs) E6300 (old one) overclocked at 3.4gz, ATI 3850 512mb (works for me, can play all my games on good enough quality for myself), 4GB Memory blah blah blah! lol so im confident my pc can play most/all games ....... until i add mods and mess them up lol
