I would tell you the most easy step . reinstall the game without the mods , then install any mod that you really need. but if you don't want too don't anyway i had this problem and well i fixed thanks to making anything organized (any new mods i download i put them in a group so i woluld see if they brake or stuff like this) , it would be nice to see your load-order so i could tell you what causing it

Ahhh , crazy psychics . anyway , did you install any new mods that change a bit the size or collision of things ?

I guess that it's not lore-friendly that anyone would swim in the rivers at Skyrim ; Skyrim is an cold land and well the water would be colder but at some parts of Skyrim its possible to maybe make seems that Citizens (or NPC's) will swim at. however i'm still not knowledgeable with the game scripts but maybe it would be interesting to see something like this. :)

Lets say i had stopped playing "Skyrim" at lest 3 times . but what made me come back is reinstalling the game and not braking it up. and i know a lot of ppl quit Skyrim because they modded it soo much that the game broke (or its just me ;-; ). Anyway - If you want you need to find what stuff would you like to have new in Skyrim ; Like me i love stuff that i could "Roleplay" with like some Camping mods , some NPC's mods , some war mods , indeed some performance mods , some more mods , more mods , more mods , and more music. and well just go play something else if you don't want to play Skyrim like i did , i played a lot of games and then returned to lovely Skyrim and now i can't quit it ;-;
