Is EA Beta not mod compatible?

I tried to download 1.0.6, but the file on the site was empty. The only one I could find was the alpha 5 version of 1.0.6. -
I jumped on the EA platform beta and now, even though I launch just fine via Frosty, my mods are missing in game. Anybody else having this issue?
