So its been a while since ive been on the mods site, apparently more than six months since ive last logged in. It said that i had to get to a validation email on a very old and forgotten email account. But there was no such security check on the forums here and i was able to log in with my same account im using now. Then just had to click on the mods portal to bypass that check altogether. just thought that was a neat little workaround i found and wanted to share it.
