if you got the self install,just double click on it and follow the installer prompts Maybe im saying this wrong. Im at this part where all my downloaded files from the internet are. The File im trying to open is the oblivion full installer. The problem is that there is an internet explorer symbol on it. If i open the file, it does nothing but open up loads of windows. Im pretty sure if you right click it, it shows "open with". I DON'T want to open it with IE though.

Just got done reinstalling oblivion. I ran into a problem. I downloaded the oblivion Mod manager Full installer. What do i open the file with? It automatically recommends internet explorer, but if i do that, it creates a huge amount of internet explorers.

Well, maybe i messed up there too. I don't know if this counts as piracy, but during the time i quit oblivion, I installed a program called acid studios. You can record game tracks and voices from other programs. If i disabled ACID music studios, do you think that might work?

I'm sorry to be rude, but your tutorial doesn't work. I did all of the things you said to do, and while the game did install faster, the problem is still there. I don't have any mods, no helper programs, no nothing, and nothing happened. I still receive the "Oblivion has stopped working sign yet".

Yeah this is probably my own fault. So a year back, i played oblivion and was modding and all that. I got bored and so i tried to uninstall it. That didn't work with the "insert disk" error showing, so i followed what this guy said to do, and used reg edit. Now, i want to play again and start modding, so i installed it again. Nothing wrong, until i push play from the launcher. A black box shows in the corner, and will flash. The screen will turn black, but soon it shows an "oblivion has stopped working" sign. I have a great graphics card, and it played very smoothly, even on high quality, so it can't be the graphics card. Any help on how to fix this? :blush:

Ive been trying to download the oblivion stutter remover file...but it says" Not Found The requested URL /download.php was not found on this server. Hello i am Rlm Claw, While i was playing Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for the x-box, i got an idea. I thought "this would look great oblivion". But i searched for mods that have the "Ninja Armor" (Classic Subzero, scorpion, reptile, ermac, noob saibot, etc) and came up empty. there is this sound effect with the fatality, but id like to complete the MK look. I'd like noob saibots armor or look, if thats possible. probably light armor. See, thats when i said before, "download to my documents". I thought people would understand but noone seems to get it. when i say "download" i mean "save". And thats when i get the problem. It will not let me chose where to save, it will head straight for a "temp" file, then attempt to open up the OMM. This is happening to everything, including Non-Oblivion stuff. I just want it to change back to where i could pick where i could send it. :closedeyes:

it seems to be a browser configuration or you are ticking the 'run' (open with) option instead download (it may occurs if the browser recognizes the file type and will give a prompt for direct execution) ...okay...but how do i fix it? :confused:

Hello, im sorta new to mods. I sorta have a problem. whenever i try download a mod (CM Partners Share and Recruit) it will not let me download it to my documents. Instead, it will transfer it to a temporary folder. Then, it will attempt to open up OMM, but will show a error. It will even do this, if the mod isnt omod. Im a windows Vista user. :ninja:
