  1. "Mainly because your "only thing that keeps their games relevant" line is unsubstantiated bull." ... you really think it's themselves keeping it that relevant? that is by far the most hilarious and absurd thing I've heard in a long time. Modding literally is the one and only possibility that Skyrim is as relevant as it is today.
  2. Yo. I do audio/voice FX editing and am wanting to do some voice FX to V. give some FX to them. Like Lizzy Wizzy. also want to do tones for male V. My only issue is I do not know where/how to get the voice files to edit and put back properly. got the tool kit. but trying to find my way through the wiki instructions for voice files. no luck so far.
  3. think it would be pretty cool to have hancock as a glowing one. maybe even have him emit radiation
  4. Been looking and waiting for a mod (a stable one at least) that would make Honest Dan a legit companion after the completion of his side quest. There's one I've found on Nexus, however it's extremely outdated and was left with many issues. A while back, I just figured it would happen later. Found it surprising it hasn't. Dan is a hell of a character and would make an awesome follower. I'm guessing it shouldn't be too hard considering there's already the actual character and voice files. I'd like to even try myself, however, finding the time to relearn how to use the CK and everything is a bit intimidating.
  5. Trying to get nexus version of better stores again being that it has more items and works better than Bath.net version. However, it is no longer on the nexus it seems. Contacted the mod creator a long time ago and Blaze said he had no idea that it was no longer up on nexus. I assumed he would have re upload it to nexus after being informed. Apparently not and now isn't responding to anyone elses comments on his Youtube channel. are there any other versons out there other than the one on Bathesda.net?
  6. I would love this as well. however, not sure if it's going to happen. the only person I know that is at least trying to is the author of Bountiful Boards. However, they are new and not sure if it's going to go well. or even happen at all.
  7. Was curious to know if this is possible in any way maybe through console or a mod I have not found yet? Was wanting to have a Settler that has his own robot that follows him around.
  8. It's been years since I've modded for a game. Last one was Morrowind and seemed a lot easier than it is now. Could just be my 30 year old brain isn't capable of what it used to be in my teens. Anyway, I sorta missed gaming / modding and wanted to jump back into it yet I am unsure on what is the most efficient way to start. Here's a list of what I intend to do with this mod and would like some input on where to begin as to avoid complications in the future. Purpose of Mod To have an optional place to have access to all vendors, crafting, etc. For players that do not wish to build their own settlements and have to manage it and them. However, this availability comes at a cost. almost everything will cost you caps if you do not wish to do it yourself. Let us say you don't want to have to get the perks in order to upgrade your gear. Just pay to have a smith do it for you. - build a NPC settlement in a custom location - 2 main factions (faction that runs the settlement, Vendors, Guards, etc.) and faction that is the people there for purpose of the town's theme. * make the people that are there for the town's purpose are recruitable via caps. * Only intend to use basic vanilla NPC templates for voice, ai, etc. as to try to not conflict with other mods that alter these things. I just want them to exist and follow the main basic NPC functions. - Have all access to workbenches/ facilities via caps * want to either make it to where player has to pay in order to use workbenches' respected facilities as if they are owned by NPCs or just make it to where you pay the NPC to do the work for you. *would like to choose the ladder* - Purchasable interior player home where you can customize it * this should be the only part of the town where the player can be able to alter as they can in their own settlements. This is pretty much the base of it. I have it listed as to what I should worry about first to last. any input on where I should begin or pro tips is much appreciated. also would like to know where a place has good tutorials on the CK and FO4edit. Most of the one's I have found are very vague and/or only cover bare minimum. I would like some in depth and specific instruction. Any advice would be helpful and I thank you for it.
  9. I want this as well. May try looking into moding an existing weapon to be able to use 2mm ec rounds.
