Still No luck soz.. :(

I curently have an AMD 4870 x2 (duel gpu card) and when I enable crossfire the fps is the exact same, as when crossfire is disabled. Msi afterburner shows both gpu's are only at around 20-45% usage. No v-sync or fps cap. I have latest patch and All my drivers are up to date. I have had this issue since the game came out. Ideas???

Yeah i tried that but i have like 500 enchantments so it would take ages. I have removed like 100 but had taken me ages. It was my own fault I used the enchantment glitch on the Xbox ages ago. Just got the PC version A few weeks ago and transferred my saves to PC. I did find a tool on TES nexus that allows u to find enchantment ID by just clicking on it but still takes ages! However then I found this----http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11368--- It works but the enchantments still stay in active effects MY fatigue/health/magic is now back to normal but the meter for them on my HUD acts like it's higher making it look like i have taken damage this is caused by the fact the active affects are still there. thnx any ideas? Hi does anyone know how to remove the Permanent Enchantments effects glitch from your character??

it happens when u exceed the mod limit your map somtimes goes blue aswell lol you must have like 250 mods i have done the same i just disabled a few mods you could try and put lots of mods in into one there for you would have more space you could have one for weapons one for houses and so on there is a tool on nexus that makes it easier to do cant remeber the name tho you could do it the old fashion way by using geck

You may have a modified .exe there for the patcher will not reqonise the .exe so it will just pass right throu it. you should always keep a backup of your .exe some mods can modify your .exe if you have a backup just replace it with the fallout3.exe in your fallout folder then try patching it again if not then you will have to reinstall fallout 3 or install it on another computer then use a flash drive/disk to transfer it to your com. good luck!!!

why the hell are u being like this i only asked for help if ur pissed off dont take it out on me. Take it as a complement tht peeps are asking for ur help as it show u know what ur talking about and when i said i dont have any other prosses running in the background i didnt mean it the way u thoght i ment it i meen none of the prosses running should coz a notcible slowdown i dont think lowing aa or af will help as it worked fine before so it cant just slowdown because of tht there is no need telling u what mods i have got as i moved them alll out the date folder as i said in my last post i have a backup of my exe files and stuff replaced them still no change tnx for ur help its the way u said it thats anoying me

it also happens when i wait i think because the lighting/shadows and stuff like tht change by waiting and same with fast travel anything tht changes details makes the game slowndown. i save the game where it is slowing down then restart game and get 60 fps again it is realy anoying because i keep having to restart the game i have got windows vista ultmate 64bit i tryed the 3gb enabler mod by nmc with no sucses i have no other programs running i have never had this prob before so it has nothing to do with aa af i have moved all the stuff out my date folder coz it has texture mods in it so i moved evrything out mseh textures everything exsept the offichial folders that are needed to play fallout still no sucses i will try to defrag my hard drive if tht works thnx for ur help hope it works anymore idears i could try???? :thanks:

i have a 4870 X2 card and am running fallout 3 maxed out with 4xaa 16xaf and got solid 60 fps never went bellow 60 but now for some reson the fps just drops to like 20-40 but if i quit the game then start it up again it runs at 60 again it tends to happen if i do somthing like example. 'go through doors that take me to new world spaces ' or in mother ship zeta going through the healing devices and somtimes it happens when i change from 1st person to 3rd person it must be a mod thts cozing this but i heard others have same prob with my card but i have never had this prob when i first got the game. :wallbash:

hi my fallout 3 charector is level is 95. the reason it is so high is because i wanted to get all perks but couldn't be bothered entering all the perks i wanted in console as some wer mods. So i used advlevel so i am now lv 95 and i changed my health from like 1600 to 450 to make the game more fair. the game wasnt to hard untill i got mothership zeta the aliens take ages to kill because the level up with you they kill me in like 5 shots but even some of my moded weapons that do like 300 damage takes ages to kill them i tried changing my charetor level to 30 using player.set level but the enemy level stays the same i tyed going to level 29 then advlevel so the game would recognise me at level 30 but it just says i am level 30 but the enemy skill has not changed!!!!! I have tryed the level resarting mods but with no sucsess can anyone help me solve this as mothership zeta is to hard. i could make my health realy high but it just aint fun shoting enemy's with 3 fat man shots and they still walk to tell the tail.

is there anyway to replace my fallout 3 exe without a complete reinstall like if someone sent me one or if i installed game on other comp the transferd it over. i have asked somthing like this before but not got a reply for this part of what i said plz help :mellow:

cant somone just send me there exe file. or if i install the game on a other computer and tranfer the exe. would that work coz they should be the same? thnx.

i cant patch fallout 3 to 1.5 then to 1.6 because i have a modifeid exe file i think cri squad cozed it. is there any way to fix this problem whithout reinstalling the game like some one could send me there exe if that works. i realy need the patches because i cant play broken steel without them because the patch fixes the bug where u are stuck under the hospital bed. and fake patch dont fix it. i have this prob for about 2 months and i realy want to play the new dlc. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: plz help :biggrin:
