  1. I saw 510Deshawn's videos last night that seemed helpful. I'll give JRamosWorks a try as well, thanks!
  2. This is my first foray into CK modding, so I am not really sure what to do here. I also cannot seem to find any literature on the subject, either. My issue is, and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction, that I want to make a standalone pistol mod for Starfield. I have modeled out and textured the pistol, I have also familiarized myself with creating basic mods using vanilla assets in the CK, however I have no idea how to take my custom mesh and port it into the game. I have set up Nifskope and made sure that the gun can be loaded into Nifskope, it looks and works great by the way. But, that's as far as I got till, I hit a wall of just not knowing what to do next. Can anyone help or provide a link to a tutorial on how to port custom weapons into Starfield?
  3. So, this is going to be my first ever mod for any Bethesda game. I have worked on other mods for other games before but I am unfamiliar with Nifskope and modding a Bethesda game in general. I have an OBJ file that I am wanting to port into Nifskope. I found a version that supposedly works with Starfield nifs, however, whenever I try to import the OBJ it displays an error and the mesh cannot be seen in the viewer. I am certain that I am doing something wrong. Can anyone help me out with this? I am extremely new to this software so I will need a good deal of assistance. I will also include a screenshot of the error.
  4. Well, I'll have to take a look at some of those and see what I can do! Thanks for the suggestions guys! :D If I make any progress I'll try to post them here later on.
  5. Oh geez, that's my mistake. I didn't mean the actual Map, I meant the actual world space. I wanted to convert an entire world space to look like it was in outer space. I saw something like it in the Aethernautics mod by TrainWiz but I wanted to create a whole worldspace that looked like it was entirely in outer space. Then use the LOD to create a world "Map" for it. I'm just wondering, is it possible to retexture the sky and everything to look like it's in space? Didn't mean to confuse you. I just chose the wrong word! -_-6
  6. Hi everyone! So, this is my first time modding Skyrim. Although by far not my first time modding a game. So I have a good general knowledge of what I'm doing. I just have a simple question. I was wondering if it were at all possible to retexture the world map with an outer space "Starry Sky" texture. I wouldn't need any water or land masses. (Obviously :P) How would one go about doing this? I just had a killer total conversion mod idea that could work through various scripts, however, my first obstacle is creating an outer space world map. So the first step is not going to so well! :D
