  1. I'll use my right account this time... Great, finally got some where. using NinjaRipper 2.4, adding it as an executable in MO2 and running to load MO2's VFS(for mod loading), selecting the skse loader.exe in NR2 and starting skyrim through NR2. I recommend using an empty map/mod or a really high place when ripping to minimize clutter, i used frame rip that I assigned to F10 and the result was promising. importing the ripped models into blender 4.1 using the included NR2 importer works a treat except, if you ripped in a cluttered area/map it will result in a me & my katamari situation. when importing there are two options, "world space import" where it would seem my character is in the same pose and equipped weapons and "T-pose import" where the character is standing with their arms by their sides and weapons and such are on the ground and all characters may occupy the same place and overlap. Update: using the mod Review Studio With Green Screen Rooms https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11792?tab=description i was able to do a real nice rip of my character, duplicated models are still an issue though.
  2. Yeah, it was an interesting read. i was surprised nexus took that stance in regard to this AI thing. i was just throwing in my two cents on the matter to the op.
  3. I'm probably wrong but i was under the impression when you NG+ many of the planets (at least the ones that are procedural) may have different atmospheres and surfaces making it impossible for bases to remain in a new game, unless of course the universe remains identical every time with characters only changing. but i guess if the surface generation uses some kind of seed number to stipulate surface formation, biome and atmosphere then maybe it's possible.
  4. so if someone uses AI to voice a custom companion and does not make the mistake of naming the voice actor or a character using that actors voice, the author could make the claim the specific voice being synthesized is nothing but an impersonation or sound-a-like. many people do impersonations of other voice actors, jon baily and others for example impersonating peter cullen's optimus prime because they sounded "somewhat" like him, so they get jobs playing prime and not peter to save money. yeah, i know it's controversial with the "AI is takin' our jerbs" however, i believe when it comes to modding if you can get a free VA or hire a VA you should, but perhaps you cannot for some reason or another, then AI is perfectly fine in my opinion. I consider AI voice in modding nothing but the impersonation of a humans voice that may sound alike to someone in reality but, directly taking existing prerecorded lines of a voice actors work and repurposing it is theft without a doubt. It's all a matter of perspective, if AI voice is something you morally object to, don't support the author by downloading the mod. mods shouldn't be removed because they do not align with the opinions of a minority who does not necessarily represent the opinions of the whole modding community.
  5. With the discovery of the Alt jump binding to allow horizontal boost was a game changer however, gamepad can only bind a single jump option. I found using WASD and pressing the jump button on gamepad will result in horizontal boost, except when using a gamepad and using jump/Alt jump on keyboard will result in ordinary boost. I'm unsure of the significance of this but it would seem directional boosting is dependent on directional input method.
  6. if your using mouse and keyboard flying jetpack. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1123 however if your using gamepad there is no option at the moment due to horizontal boost bound to ALT Jump
  7. the lack of the protomen, motorhead, sabaton or Perturbator is dissapointing and i agree with either a custom radio station or station replacement mod
  8. Looking for a player home mod i downloaded a while back. The mod was locatedsomewhere between Rorikstead and Fort Greymoor on top of a large hill/ small mountain. It had a dragonhunter/ dragonborn theme and you had to defeat a dragon to obtain the key. The building i believe, was a very large longboat hall like the companions mead hall and could be used as a large guild hall with bedrooms, kitchen, baths and armoury on lower floors. the main floor also had a very large fire pit. On the outside there were trainning dummys, smithing gear and large balcony looking towards whiterun. the name may have been along the lines of dragons rise/ascent, dragon lodge, hall something like that i think. Ok, i Found the mod. Skyhammer Hold - Enter the Barbarianhttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28839
  9. In Fallout 4 you can use SLM (NPC ID) but I don't think that will work with Skyrim showracemenu
  10. I'm looking for a necklace mod this in line with various anime like overlord, goblin slayer, ect. In these shows and manga, adventurers are ranked by classes that vary around 5-10 ranks. These ranks are represented usually by metal tags/plates made of copper, bronze, iron, silver, platinum, gold and other fantasy ore. I have looked around at every mod source I can find, however, I don't think it exists yet. could be one of these https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18766 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15910
  11. I Found this but have no idea if its a WIP or finished, hopefully not considering the textures look plastic and the model needs more detail. https://m.imgur.com/gallery/CtZwQvb
  12. Has anyone considered a looks menu type camera view and menu for the equipping and preview of clothing and armor? I find that when im trying out a lot of gear mods for me and my follower, i have to continuously open and close the pip-boy to see what going on. Something along the lines of a fixed/orbiting external camera, along with a compact menu of the players or followers inventory (just apparel) on the side to give a clear view of the characters appearence. I had a look everywhere i could and i don't think it exists, would be a nice mod i think.
