  1. just a little bump to ask if no1 else is interested in making this... I should get my new PC tomoz so if no1 else interested I suppose I could give it a try myself... which would probably fail, and then I'd have to wait for alonso :P
  2. I think images look better too, at least for these Paladin-type spells. The pulsing shader styles look more appropriate for evil/dark casters too me, though that could of course also just be caused by the red and green colours you used in those screenshots.
  3. Well yeah, with the method I described in the first post for holding it I suppose whoever's going to model it could play a bit to see what looks good and minimizes clipping. The weapon doesn't have to be huge either, the versions those Night Elves on Sarac's screenshots have aren't that big either. And making it smaller should also reduce clipping. Besides, there are many modded weapons for oblivion that are huge and therefore cause quite some clipping... a little clipping will probably be unavoidable but ain't too much of a problem, as long as it looks good in idle where players usually look better and take screenshots. During combat there won't be much time to check if it clips anyway, because players are focused on fighting then :P

  6. Hey, for the mod I'm working on it would be awesome to have a triple-bladed warglaive, like the Night Elves in Warcraft use. I couldn't find many good screenshots of it, and since I don't have the wowmodelviewer on this PC I can't make some screenshots mysel. Since there's blades on three sides you can't hold it like a sword, just on one end. I suggest looking at http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27542 for this problem. Even though that mod has 2 blades and my request has three, the same principle should work: make a small ''shield'' on top of the hand (the circle in the middle would be perfect) with a handle where players/NPCs can hold the weapon on that. While I'm waiting for new PC to be delivered (old one is broken) I'm reading tutorials for blender, so if noone else wants to pick this request up I suppose I could try myself... though the chance of succes would be much greater if an expert is willing to do this :) EDIT: Some extra screenshots Sarac's post (the second)
  7. Hey, haven't posted a lot yet and just about no1 knows me yet, but I've been working for quite a long time on a WoW-based mod alrdy. I dont intend to make the entire world of Azeroth or even worse, a total conversion, but this is what I intend: - New races (got all playable ones of wow made alrdy but Draenei. Tauren almost finished using TalkieToaster's Playable Creatures and NPCs method, also got worgen and Goblins) - Theramore as a location for shops for new items and starting point for quests (done) - Being able to choose one of the 10 classes and learn spells through quests (made many spells and ability to choose class, but u get spells immediately now since I didn't make quests yet) Got summer holidays soon, so should be able to finish and release a first beta version in a couple of weeks.
  8. now that zerowin is back to being able to respond (and after fixing some harddrive trouble hopefully also modding :P) I'll bump this :P
