  1. Did you ever find an answer to this? I have the same problem.

If I had to say, I don't believe I ever did. It's been awhile since I last played Skyrim....lol. I think I just ended up using a different race mod, or just modified the default Nord race.

  2. Hey all,

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere, but I'm missing all of the sliders added by racemenu, such as the sliders in the extra tab, expressions, and all of the "fine tweaking" sliders in face, mouth, eyes, etc. tabs. I installed the Custom Races mod, and I moved all of my required body files and skeleton NIFs over to the mod's folder in Skyrim/Data/Textures/CustomRaces and Skyrim/Data/Meshes/CustomRaces. I've read somewhere that I have to move a .Tri file into the Custom Races folder, but I have no idea which one or where to find it if that's the issue. Also, I should mention that everything else works fine (animations, bodyslide, etc.). I also have the race compatibility mod.

Ask if you need to see my load order, or a picture to further clarify what I've got going on.

  3. @Blackrose:

A Z97 MB and an i7-4790k is absolutely wasted money since you can get 60fps with 2k mods and ENB with a H97 MB and an i5-4690! Both are much cheaper than the ones you've recommended and the performance plus is in no relation to it's higher price.

Also your hardware won't help at all if he hasn't the proper graphics card.

In your place I would get new z97 mobo with i7 4790k cpu coming out later this month. It has same price tag as 4770k, clocks 4 ghz out of the box and with a bit of luck you can push it to 5ghz on all 4 cores on air with custom cooler. Comparing temperature of both i7 4770k and 4790k OC @ 4.7ghz the latter one will stay 10 C cooler.

I have 2 4 gig 760s in SLI and an I7 4770K 3.9 ghz. Heavily modded, Realvision ENB full, various 2K and 4K textures, and at 1440P I get about 35-45 FPS in heavily wooded/grassy areas, and inside I'm above 50 FPS. I'm also regularly pushing 3-3.5+ gigs of VRAM due to the texture loading. All said, that's not fantastic, but very playable and plenty of eye candy. If I turn off ENB, my FPS soars WAY past 60 and I need vsync to eliminate tearing. I'll take an FPS hit and have maxed out ENB/textures to have the game look the best it can and the way I want it. I would probably need two 780s to get 60+ FPS with my current settings!

I used to run at 1080P, with a single 760 with Realvision Full and 2K textures and IIRC I was in the high 30s. I briefly tried 1440P with a single 760 and maxed out settings and my FPS were in the low to high 20s. Pretty poor.

    Just adding an observation.

There is a very little difference in frames between the i7 and i5. If you're looking to get an i7 just to play games, that's a big mistake, because why would you buy something that expensive (unless you have the money) for a +2 frame increase? I have an AMD because it's cheaper and has the exact same performance of an i5. the thing that matters most is how high it is clocked, the higher you clock, the better the performance, but worse temps, stability, and noise. Consider getting a better motherboard to OC higher, and a Noctua CPU cooler if your case can fit it, or do some research on CPU fans.

  4. I have a EVGA 650 ti boost, which isn't that far away from performance and price of the 760. I have about 270 ish mods installed, and about half of it are textures and graphics mods. I also have an ENB. The only downside is I cant use the regular versions of an ENB, I usually have to get a performance edition, but my card runs all this at 40+ frames outside, and 60+ inside at 720p. If you are planning to run at 1080p, you should prob stick with the 760 as your choice, but it's either the 2 gb, or the 4gb, depending on your price range. And what CPU do you have, because Skyrim is very CPU dependent, (like most games on the market these days) and if you feel like your CPU isn't up to par, I would suggest a AMD 8320, because of the price (AMD haters not allowed) and get aftermarket CPU cooler so you can overclock it and get better performance. OR! Get a PNY gtx 770 here, ill post links:

And to answer your question about the price tag for supreme graphics, it depends on what you want to get(most likely a GPU) but if you want to play with 2k textures or even 4k with an ENB, you will have to get a better cpu, (or just overclock your current one) and a good graphics card. So maybe around $600 for both.

  5. I've tried installing Skyrim ENB's for forever, and all of them have the same problem. I can see the ENB working, and all the effects, but pretty much everything is invisible. I can only see a couple of things. So I am wondering if I am installing every ENB wrong, if it's SKSE, or if it's one of my mods, because I tried disabling all of them, even the plugins, but nothing has seemed to work. I get the white message when you boot skyrim up saying the ENB series info and your GPU, and I also get the yellow message when you hit "play game" saying something about shift and enter. And yes, I have the correct version of enbseries that the mod suggests(which is 0.254). I have a EVGA 650 ti BOOST 1 gb card, and it should be able to run an ENB well, but for some reason it's not working for me. I have also looked up the problem I am having online, and found nothing. Someone please help!! I will also try to give an image of what i'm seeing.(this is at the front gate looking at Whiterun)

Update: I did some more research and figured out it was the AntiAliasing. Issue fixed!
