Posting as a modding idea only, for if and when the modding community figures out how to mod the game better. In the game, enemies called BTs can create huge wakes of black muck that your character may have to wade through. Essentially for the mod.... Make the "muck" white. There's nothing awful the internet would use this for I'm sure

I'm really f*#@ing tired that the only thing for death stranding is f*#@ing reshades no model changes no color changes hell no even gameplay changes. where are the mods for same to wear idk his original suit or wear a model of SNAKES sneaking suit from ground zero or have an infinite battery for the vehicles or mech suits or make the game even harder or something idk why there are so many f*#@ing reshades

I would like to signal a serious problem, the FOV MOD by Rose completely changed the game and now finally there is an appeal to the free roam thanks to her. However the MOD does not freeze the camera at the desired distance and every time my character slips or has a slight off balance while moving the camera will zoom in and zoom back out, the problem is that this disastrously stupid mechanic constantly triggers when going downhill or on any rough terrain as the main character cannot handle a 5 feet stretch without constantly slipping, tripping, falling, tipping and so this renders the MUCH WELCOMED ADDITION FOV MOD a nightmare.. This also happens when the character grabs an object or comes across a BT field, everywhere you go you get ceaseless zoom ins, this mechanic is impossible to avoid even with trainers. Is there a way to either remove this mechanic or at least remove the trigger of the zoom in?

So I have a few ideas that I think could enhance the experience & immersion for those interested in playing the game in the ultimate minimalist fashion without hampering the gameplay or losing some of the key functionality of your equipment. First, removing the HUD with the current options available does not remove the MANY textual information updates that pop up on the left hand side of the screen so finding a way to remove those would be paramount. Also, removing markers from the HUD means that NO LUGGAGE TAGS will be visible on your screen when using the odradek scanner. Since this DOES greatly affect gameplay and makes the scanner pretty much pointless for anything expect for BTs & checking surfaces & grades, a good in-game solution to this problem could be to have scanned tags be visible ONLY when using the binoculars after you've already scanned the area, similar to how scanned tags show up in the cufflinks, without having to go into a seperate menu screen. Since removing the HUD also makes keeping track of your vehicle & personal batteries nearly impossible (without the textual info updates), adding a small indicator in the cufflinks display would also be ideal. Lastly, a toggle zoom option for the binoculars to make them less cumbersome to use in the aforementioned scenario and a first person view for on-foot & in-vehicle would just be FANTASTIC! I've never made a mod before or requested one to be made for that matter, but this is something that I feel very strongly about and think would really catapult the gameplay experience in a big way.

deathstranding [Mod request] Bring back the monster energy

very simple, im surprised that no one has done this yet -
I'm an Arrow Keys user, always have been, always will be, for movement of character and any vehicle in any game. So, in the normal version of Death Stranding you could bind both Sam and any vehicle movement to any key binds you wanted .. but, in the DC version, it seems there's been a hardcoded change to the vehicle binds, which allows for some changes, but not for Arrow Key use. You can still bind Sam's movement to Arrow Keys in the DC version of the game. There doesn't seem to be any dedicated key binds for the Arrow Keys in DC, which might cause some conflict, which only adds to the mystery of why arrow keys can't be used for vehicle movement. So, if someone is able to go far deeper into the thing than I am able too, I'd be very grateful. I've already tried manually altering the 'bindings.cfg' file in the Profile folder, and it only showed that no keys were bound to vehicle movement when I opened the game afterwards. So, the Arrow Keys really seem to be entirely removed somewhere from the ability to add as vehicle movement keys. I replaced the customised .cfg file with the original, and it all went back to WASD for vehicle movement, as default. Thanks again :)

just saying im kind of surprised at the lack of mods for this game... id repaying the game from start as a scavenger hunter from destiny 1 maybe making your supplies inventory based due to you being able to use the ghosts pocket dimension maybe even having double jumps other then that weird idea could have outfits from NPCs like higs gold suit

I'd like for my 4 year old nephew to play this game. He's played Stray which I thought was a peaceful platformer but then introduces annoying enemies. I'd like to introduce him to traversal games that are not too difficult and Death Stranding is great(with a little bit of help from me). I'd like him to learn to use items at his disposal like a ladder etc to get past obstacles but he should be able to take his time. Anyway, that's why I want a no enemies mod.
