Feature Request: In-Built Cheat Code System for Cyberpunk 2077
Guest posted a topic in Cyberpunk 2077's Discussion
I’d like to submit a feature request that I believe would significantly enhance the experience for a portion of the community: the addition of an official in-built cheat code system. Many players—myself included—enjoy exploring games beyond the bounds of their intended design. Tools like God Mode, NoClip, Give All Weapons/Items, Super Damage, and Teleportation offer a fun and creative way to experience the game differently, whether for content creation, story experimentation, accessibility, or simple sandbox-style enjoyment. Currently, the community depends on third-party trainers and mod menus to access these functions. However, these tools are often rendered incompatible after major updates or patches, requiring players to wait for modders to catch up or risk breaking their game. Moreover, these unofficial tools can introduce security concerns or unintended bugs, making the experience less stable and more frustrating. An official in-game cheat system, whether enabled via a debug menu, developer console, or toggle in the menu (possibly restricted to offline or single-player use), would: Provide a safe, stable way to access advanced features Ensure compatibility with future patches and expansions Reduce reliance on external tools or mods Empower users to experience Night City in diverse, creative ways It could even be tucked under an “Experimental” or “Sandbox Mode” toggle to keep it separate from the core gameplay experience. Many great RPGs and open-world games—such as The Elder Scrolls series or Grand Theft Auto—have embraced cheat systems as part of their sandbox charm. Adding something similar to Cyberpunk 2077 would enhance its longevity and replayability, especially for creative and modding-friendly players. -
Hello everybody, I've got a little problem with my modified XCOM - EU (Build 1.0.0.28586 - Patch IV) game. I am currently unable to access the developer console (you know the green bar on the bottom of the screen). Everytime I press "^" (I'm german btw so that's my key to access it) it doesn't appear. Instead there is thin green line where I cannot input any codes. Trying to type in codes blindly doesn't work too. It won't recognize my input. What, dear community, could be the problem?

I need some help if you would be so kind. See, I've scoured over the internet, trying to find out why my console command is not working. So before you say I need to and "-enabledeveloperconsole" or, say "if it's Vista" Allow me to tell you everything I've done so far and what is happening. WHAT IS HAPPENING: My console command is not popping up. YES. I know you can't see what you are typing. I'm not even getting that. I try to open it (With "~", I know) but nothing happens. I can still move my character around, menus are popping up when their respectable keys are pressed, acting like the console is not enabled. My console command does not appear. At. All. WHAT I HAVE AS A SYSTEM, ECT.: -I run DA:O through Steam -I have windows 7 Premium -I have the Mod manager v1.9d WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR: -I have gone through Steam to DA:O properties/general/set launch options and typed in "-enabledeveloperconsole" without quotations. -I have launched DA:O through Mod manager by using the run option "Run Dragon Age with Console" -I have done these with both on at the same time -I have done these one at a time NOTE: The version I have is the Ultimate Edition, so editing the XML file will not work (I have also tried this before realizing it.) At one point when I was using a disc copy that my friend loaned me, the commands were able to be used on this computer. So it is possible. Please help.
