Hi Nexus, So I recently began, or rather am currently trying to begin, a new playthrough of Skyrim, and have had quite a lot of trouble getting my mods set up. Tonight, I was finally able to get everything I wanted installed and running, but as soon as Hadvar and I approached Riverwood, the game crashed. At first, Skyrim just froze. The music stopped; my white arrow cursor appeared on the screen, while the gray Skyrim cursor was frozen. I couldn't ctrl-alt-delete my way out, or alt-tab. Then, I installed OneTweak from here on the Nexus, after which the crash became a regular CTD. Here is some information about my rig and my game: Skyrim Legendary Edition (Steam), all up-to-date C:/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Latest version of SKSE and all of my mods. I have used LOOT, WryeBash, and TES5Edit, none of which have turned up problems (if I knew what the problem was, TES5Edit might help, but I don't know which mod to check and haven't gone through them all yet because I haven't the energy tonight). In any case, I don't know enough about how TES5Edit works to really tell what the problem is or how to fix it. My CPU is a Lenovo Y700 Laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce 960M GPU w/ 4 GB RAM (also has an integrated GPU, but Skyrim is set to use the Nvidia). Windows 10. Intel Core i7-6700HQ, 2.6 GHz, 16 GB RAM. UPDATE: Tried downloading latest Nvidia drivers, tried installing SSME (a memory patch), no luck. Next thing I'll try is installing ENBoost; if that doesn't work, I'll hope to have a response on here, and if not I'll begin testing mods one by one.
