Mod Discriber

Mod Discriber, thats the title im sticking to since i can think of no other way to describe what i want to do.

 

Every time i go to look at mods i find that there are many people that do not speak the English language well enough to describe the mod that they posted. Instead of whining and getting on the backs of people that cant speak the language ive decided to see how many of them would like to take up the services of a guy that wants to describe there mod for them. I make this offer both blindly and free since its the modding community that makes playing oblivion so much fun

 

The offer:

I will play the mod and give a detailed description of what it is and how well it works with no bias or hate. I will send you the details of the mod and you can post them with it so people can understand what it is and how it works without the need gripe about lack of fluent description.

 

The reason:

None other than that i find it annoying to see people post good mods but cant describe them well enough because they cant speak English very well. This is a nuisance for me and i plan to fix it one mod at a time.

 

My reward:

None, i find helping people to be a pleasurable experience and the fact that if i screw up i wont have to give anyone back what they gave me.

I think you should try to contact some of the authors offering your services - you see, not all of them visit this forum regularly and your post might go unnoticed. Not because no one cares, but simply because they missed it.

 

Also it's "describer", not "discriber".

How about "Description Services"? Very cute idea. You could always post your description in the comments and it would still serve the population, and if the modder decides to include it on their "front page" they can.
