The Westeros Project The Westeros project was a huge project focused on bringing the world of A Song of Ice and Fire (ASoIaF) to Skyrim. I followed this project for quite a while and it looked promising. The problem was that the project was too large for the small group that worked on it. The main problem (In my opinion anyway) is that word of the project never reached the ears of the most dedicated and skilled modders in the community. As I said the project has now stopped but if you contact one of the members, they will give you the files they completed. I am posting this as a plea for some fans and modders to finish this. That is to say: should it try to follow lore from the start? ETA: in the link they stated that you'd start out as dispossessed heir to a small northern town, right around Robert's visit to the north. Or: The story we were writing was that your would be from Ramsgate (a small town in the North mentioned in the books but no detail was ever given). You would be rightful heir to Ramsgate after your Uncle (Lord of Ramsgate) was murdered. You were cast out by those trying to take power and you ended up as a footmen in Winterfell. So you would be around to witness Robert's trip North, and have been part of those events, while performing quests based out of Winterfell. This was at least chapter one, we intended to expand south.
