A mouse problem

Rather annoying issue here... The right mouse button is not working correctly, or rather it's doing more than it should, namingly rotating the camera angle/view slightly or not-so-slighly depending on how bad the bug wants to get me killed in a fire-fight. Also happens in menus, where RMB pretty much always moves the mouse to bottom-right corner of the screen.

It's hardly the mouse I'm using, given I've tried two different ones. The issue is also not present in other games (or the couple other games I have on PC).

Check your controls. From the main menu, go to Gameplay and then to wherever you change the interface (I cannot remember the exact names of these things). Make sure to change the input from keyboard to mouse, and then find RMB and change it to whatever you want. You probably have it mapped to something funny, perhaps by accident. Could be any absurd thing, just check it out.

(Could be something in the .ini. I have no idea about all of the stuff in there, but who knows; that thing is the boss... :P )

Also, depending on what type of mouses you tested, it could be changing DPI on you. My Logitech G9 changes to game mode for a new DPI, but it always seems to be different and too slow. I know these things sound base, but it is worth looking. Good luck.

I've double checked the controls...

And changing the DPI didn't really affect it, but changing the mouse speed lower and compensating with DPI did make the "jumps" smaller. (I'm using an A4tech X7 mouse that has a button on the mouse to change the DPI on the fly).

Any other ideas?

Yeah, mine has buttons for DPI too. Ummm, does your mouse have drivers? I doubt it, but who knows. You say all the mice you try do it, but only in FO3? I don't know. Sometimes however, in one of my high-intensity programs, occasionally my mouse will cause the viewpoints to flip out; I just have to minimize and maximize the program to fix it. Of course, trying this in FO3 will kill it. I have no idea what it could be. Just in case, do search for things within your Fallout.ini to see. Like I said, I have no idea if something in there could cause it, but there is probably something you could try. Sorry, :(
