FallenSword
Recently i thought that it would be nice if there was something like... umm... Kingdom where there's a king and you start up as a... knight's assistant, lets say and then you help him for some time. Then after few journeys, you would be able to become a knight, or just take the dark path, the dark knight, or whatever. So if you want to become a loyal knight you come to the king and you have to promise the loyality, faith etc. then you become a knight, you'll get quests like purify for your sword, get a armor, defend villages and fight for kingdom at wars of course. After some time you can have a land, you know king gives a knight some land as a reward, and you can build things like palisade, well, houses, farms, some industries and your castle/fort and the port at least where you can build a ship, of course you still have to hire guards to defend your village. And ship would be used for travelling to the other kingdom where you could conquer some lands. As for dark knight, you would just come home and notice there's a letter sticked to your door, you read it and there's a strange messenge which says that you have been choosen to be a dark knight and you have to meet at the highest mountain where the evil lair is. Bla bla bla becoming a knight, some quests and finally you have to destroy all villages, and the king at the end.
6Degrees
Knights of the nine? It's the one expansion that I havn't gotten, but I'm fairly certain that it's along those lines. Become a knight, do things, be righteous and all that jazz. I could be wrong.
