Seeife
So I have a couple of problems. I first installed all the mods of the list down on the thread: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30936/? including the RealVision ENB itself. All Recommended Mods, all Essential Mods (Option A) and some of the Optional Mods. This was working fine (I think). One thing wasn't too good: The dark places are really really dark now, for example the house of the blacksmith in the first city, I can't see anything in there... Everything is actually a bit darker, what mod is causing this. Comparison: Left=Mods, Right=Vanilla http://i.epvpimg.com/RUL8f.jpg. It's the same time and it's waaaaay darker. So, I decided to install the mods beneath "Mods for character, skins and faces". I didn't notice any difference when playing again. When I try to open showracemenu it crashes, I installed the mod that prevents this behaviour, but it, and all the other ones of the "new" mods, don't appear to be in the game. They also don't appear in "Data Files". The ones I had installed from before do. Why is that? I hope anyone who knows why reads this, I appreciate your help, thanks!! prod80
ehh...you sure you followed this part to the letter? ... marked a few in red which are very important 1.Edit your skyrimprefs.ini and set the following values:[Display]bFloatPointRenderTarget=1bTreesReceiveShadows=1bDrawLandShadows=1bShadowsOnGrass=1iMultiSample=0bFXAAEnabled=0fGamma=1.2400iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5iShadowMaskQuarter=4iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=2048 (1024 for better fps)iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096 (2048 for better fps)iShadowMapResolution=4096 (2048 for better fps)[Havok]iNumThreads=3 (if you have Quadcore or above)2.Edit your skyrim.ini and set the following values:[Papyrus]fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=1000.0[Grass]iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=6bAllowCreateGrass=1bAllowLoadGrass=0iMinGrassSize=403.copy all the other files from my ENB to your Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim4.install Skyrim_Particle_Patch_for_ENB-All-In-One and if you have problems also 1.6 W.A.T.E.R. COMPATIBILITY PATCH from my optional files5.get the d3d9.dll 0.168 (wrapper-version) from Boris Vorontsov's site and copy it to Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim too, if you have problems with 0.168, try 0.157, 0.153 or 0.139. keep in mind: only the d3d9.dll from wrapperfolder, not overwrite the files from RealVision!6.Deactivate AA / SSAO in game settings AND/OR over videodriver if you have set it there! The ENB has it's own EdgeAA and SSAO, otherwise it would give you errors like "Hardware Antialiasing detected...Quality reduced..." and decreased performance. You are free to use the included EdgeAA from ENB (standard setting) or deactivate EdgeAA and use FXAA over Skyrim or videodriver, it's a matter of taste. And setup the correct load order of the mods or you (can) get weird results...http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/articles/853/ it actually looks like your land is having night light with a blue sky... weird...
