Forgot to ask before,what do I have when I cnstruct a stronghold?

If you mean what do you require to build one then that would be:

1. suffienctly high rank in the house of which you want the stronghold

2. 5000 gold

3. construction contract from the duke

4. for the telvanni stronghold u also need 2 soulgems with storm atronach souls or better.

This will all be explained as soon as you are told to build one though.

 

And if u mean what do you get when u build a stronghold:

1. a stronghold (duh)

2. ability to rise further in ranks of your house

A place of your own, with a loyal following of helpful assistants who can train and sell stuff etc. It will be stocked with weapons.

I dont seem to really believe there is a best house, I mean none of the artifacts given will be ones on which you hold onto for ever. The houses the way I see it all link to the kind of character you are creating and which class he corresponds to.

 

1. House Hlaallu- Stealth composed class

 

2. Redoran- Combat composed class

 

3. Telvanni- Magic composed class

 

Of course you can choose as you wish to but this is how I base my choise. And how the houses are run
