Companion Block Party/Job fair?

The strangest thing happened to me last night.

 

I have been having trouble with not finding Companions that I load into the game, like Isrithr, the two Loreleis, and all of the Sirens and Titans. I had to try moving the Sirens and Titans because I use Castle Almsgard and where they appear is now the harbor, but still no good. I go to Luthor broad's Inn and only Luthor and Willis are there. An orc and a porter await me in the Bruma fighter's guild, but no beautiful Nord female.

 

Last night I decided to head to the Mage Academy before packing it in and as soon as I stepped off the stairs leading to the courtyard I saw the strangest sight - a huge crowd all congregated to the west, near that new tavern that opened I think when I installed Midas Magic. I mean, it was huge, like a block party.

 

I went over to see what was going on and what did I find? Neptune! Ariel! Karen what'shername the Angel! Nearly every unemployed NPC companion and a few who I had recruited and left at my properties, as well. They were sitting, talking, drinking ale. All manner of conversation was being struck up. The ones who were assigned to guard were still where I left them, but any I said, 'Wait here and make yourself comfortable" were all at the shindig, along with a few I hadn't net.

 

Isrither and the Loreleis were not there, unfortunately, nor were some of the other Midas magic companions, but those that were there seemed to be having a good time.
