opeth123
ok Ive got the whole FCOM set up going on, but I find that when im directly facing an uberhulk, an elder ogre or sometimes a beserker ogre im getting MAJOR lag of like 1 frame per second or sometimes even less than that. But if I face away from them (even if they are fairly close behind me) and I have say 10 enemies on the screen, it runs fine. I've since disable uberhulks (which i really didnt want to do) but i obviously cannot turn off ogres and wouldnt want to either. Ive found that going into the console editor and disabling the offending creature will make my game run like normal. however once i stumbled into a cave and had to run backwards to the very back due to lag and I found a dead beserker ogre that was causing this problem, BUT when i looked i noticed that along the seams it was bursting with a rainbow of bright colours. so im wondering what would cause random hard to see unless close up colours to appear in patches and lines on a creature (another thing that happens is that the creature will be glowing bright white or similar) has anyone else had this happen? if so have you managed to sort it without having to disable the creature every time you come across one. Oh anotehr thing that happens is with balrogs, as soon as literally 1 pixel of a balrog appears on screen to me my game does a CTD (so ive had to disable them too which i REALLY didnt want to do as I wanted to fight them more than anything else, cept wyverns ;) TL;DR - my game goes 1 FPS when facing certain creatures which tend to be glowing or have random colours on them, how do I stop this? SpeckledGuar
I've only experienced this when I was modding white deer. I didn't set up the skeleton correctly and the game engine rendered it like that. I've also heard of video cards going bad causing similar things to happen. I also have had the experience of when a creature or NCP has alot of scripts and or AI packages, the frame rate of my game will really drop. Deleting the AI packages on the offending ncp or creature has helped me in the past. Do you have the CS? If you do, you could open the mod, and edit the leveled lists so the offending creatues are gone. Or perhaps your copy of the mod is somehow corrupt and you could redownload and use a new game to test if it works any better. You should prob. pm the mod author or supported for any tips. I've only used ooo and mmm. I tend to heavily edit their leveled lists because I don't like all the creatures.
