pipelighter
Hi Buddah Just really want to know why you changed servers? I have endless problems every time I come on. I can browsw fine (sometimes) but all too often I click on a link and it comes up with the "ips server" fault. Then I try your help bit and it tells me the my-sql server is down. I go backweardfs and forwards in frustration and vaguely wondered if you were aware of these problems or whether no-one had bothered to tell you!Love the site; love the advice; not grumbling merely frustrated! cheers PS Hope this is the right place!! roquefort
I get this and other slowdowns far more often than I used to. I'm guessing that the Fallout 3 forums have pulled in so many new users that the server is struggling when things get really busy (e.g. at weekends). buddah
Like everything there is a finite amount of resources available, when it gets saturated things will slowdown and you will get ips errors when no connections are available. With the release of Fallout3, we have many new users and it is becoming taxing on the system and assets. Weekends are periods of heavy volume on the sites and the forum slowdowns and errors will become more frequent. Buddah
