Help with modding

Hi, im new to skyrim modding.

Im so eager to make my new playable and unique race.

I want to create the textures for this race, including clothes, skin, eyes and personalized hair.

I'm using FOMM to extract used skins in skyrim and my original idea was to take the skin used in nord females bodies but only found specular and color maps.

I need to take all the skins of the nord female models and retexture using gimp or photoshop.

Or, ¿how can i take the mesh of the nord female and create NEW textures to apply to the model in order to create the new race?
