[IDEA] Fallout: yesterday

The idea is to change the fallout world (mainly it's technology) from it's oldie-look to a more modern style. It's still all wastes and post-apocalyptic, only that technology comes from a later part of history.

So the bombs didn't go off in like 1950, but like in 1990 or something like that.

Imagine car wrecks like the ones in HalfLife2, modern but wasted weapons, etc.

And there ain't too much to do to make it happen!

Only thing to do is change the models & textures of a few objects.

Mainly this are:

.)Car wrecks (this is the main thing, i think itchanges the waste's look dramatically, only make sure they are same size and volume as vanilla wrecks, so it doesn't mess up barricades n stuff build with wrecks

.)maybe Computers (to like monitor&keyboard)

.)maybe some posters & ads

.)maybe some armor like power armor and some pre-war modern clothing

.)weapons (there are already enough mods for that, just import some of them)

.)maybe a little texture here and there in the game world

.)some interiors

.) (your ideas)

some screens to show you the mood of it

Sadly I'm no modder, I just got ideas that's all. So I would be happy If someone's talking this idea to make it happen!

Just claim it as your own if you want,as long as you build it!

i could be wrong here but if im not mistaken the fallout world is based on what the 1950s believed would be the world in the future not the actual 1950s the bombs actually went off in 2077 i mean theres a chance i have all this mixed up but im pretty sure thats right

aside from that it does sound interesting
