Deleted4868880User
Hi Guys Wasn't really sure where was best to ask this, but as the modding community is pretty full of VERY pc literate people i thought i'd ask. I want a new gaming pc. Ive already got my spec sorted and everything, and now the only thing left for me to do is sell my old one. But im not sure how much i'd get for it, and how much i should try sell it for... Here's the spec: Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LXCPU: Intel i5-3570K @ 3.4GHz (3.8 on Asus Optimal)RAM: 8Gb Samsung (1333MHz)GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 550Ti 1GbHDD: 500Gb (7200 RPM and 16mb cache)Drive 1: 24x dual layer dvd re-writerDrive 2: 16x Blu Ray re-writer+ an internal memory card reader (XD, SD etc etc)PSU: 450WWiFi: 300mbps PCI CardOS: Windows 7 Professional 64bitWarranty: 1 year collect & return, 1 year parts, 3 years labour Its less than a year old (bought september 2012), and is from PC Specialist.co.uk. The warranty is fully transferable. they also provide an upgrade service for it. brand new its worth about £790, but im really not sure how much the value of a good as new pc depreciates after 9 months. So how much should i sell it for? Any help is appreciated :)
Ichibu
search ebay and google shopping for similar setups or at least the individual itemsPCs tend to depreciate exponentially. really old PCs are worth less than nothing evenif i was you id try for around £400. be lucky i think to get that, though. depending what your retailer was like, it may have been worth only £400 to begin with
Kelestial
You already got an Intel i5-3570k, why do you want to buy a new CPU?What PSU is it exactly?
Deleted4868880User
@Ichibu - yeah i had noticed they lose value very quickly, and the retailer provides very reasonable prices, not much higher than it would have been to self build. @aTo4sty - actually i would keep the CPU, and just change everything else :) and the PSU... erm, its a Quiet 80 Plus. :)
